Re: Arrington...
He was good because of his speed. Never was the consistent reliable get the job done guy. Never the power guy. Never the full package coverage/run guy.
He was what he WAS...amazing...because he reacted quickly to a play and got to the ball like a missle. Well, now that he isn't even fast for a linebacker, just average i'd say...so you have a guy out there who doesn't cover well, doesn't stuff the run well, doesn't take care of his assignment well, and therefore doesn't play well. Think about all of his great plays, he flew across to make a tackle, ran down a guy like he was standing still, caved in aikmans head on a play where 99% of other linebackers wouldn't have gotten close to him before he was out of bounds. You add speed and every bit of that changes......I hope he doesn't find that speed against us.

Sorry there Coggs I have been saying it for 3 years the guy is horrible, he was a stupid head before he started having injuries, it's amazing what the NFL hype machine can convince people of how good some players are regardless of how bad, from what I read you guy's were smart enough not to get to wrapped up with him contract wise if I am correct on that, he will have to perform to make the big bucks. But he's all your's good luck! |

Re: Arrington...
Well his agents are done for two years, aren't they? Not sure how they can advise him at this point.

Re: Arrington...
I wonder if Lavar's knee problem isn't degenerative. I was worried that he would be healthy and return to form all quick like, but he keeps getting slower, and slooowwwwerrrrr, and sssssllllllooooowwwwwwweeeeeerrrrrrr....
At this rate he'll be out of football next year.

Dammit, I wish Bruce Smith and Deion would come out of retirement.

Re: Arrington...
That's the most I've heard from him all season. Once again his words are louder than his actions.
