Playoffs: Yes or No?

Its funny because I thought I was being positive in thinking this team would make it interesting and give it a run at the playoffs. In today's nfl teams need 9 or 10 wins to get to the playoffs. That means this team needs to win 10 out of 14 games. With what I've seen that aint gonna happen. Keep taking those happy pills, it will make the next few months much more enjoyable for you.

Seriously guys!!! What's with the doom and gloom!?! Look how much better the Skins are playing than last season... oh wait. Well, look how they've opened up the offense since preseason... ummm. But hey, Brunell looks like a Pro Bowler in Al Saunders' vaunted offensive system... uhhh.

Well at least the defense is still top tier... dammit!

Hmmm... well if being realistic makes me a bad fan, then so be it, but what does blindly buying into the billion dollar hype machine, that is the Washington Redskins make you? Some of us are just sick of the same BS we've been hearing for the last decade, that THIS is the season that Washington will get over the hump. That's about 1 in every 7. I like our chances then with our coaching staff and players...providing we get it "together" as Gibbs says.

Honestly, I'm not going to be satisfied with playoffs.

At this point, with the performance at QB, I don't believe that playoffs or more are anything close to reality.

Maybe just getting CP back on the field will change everything, #8 will throw for 4,000 yards, become MVP and we will go 14-2. But I don't think that's reality.

Our best bet may be a performance in Houston where:

-We get solid protection for the QB (helped by CPs pass blocking and running performance).
-We get more of the consistantly bad performance we have seen so far from QB.

Then real change happens.

Guys really a lot of negative energy to early to trow the towel, it's a tough schedule and your teams has shown many flaws but it's way early you only need a hot streak and win the games you're suppose to win

No panic button until mid season please
