Bush refered to Kerry as a flip flop, but some of our friends here are the biggest flip flops I've ever seen. Two weeks ago before we played the Giants and LaVar was shooting off his mouth (again) He was being blasted here like a demolition, (go back and read the posts) He get's hurt in last night's game and suddenly he's coming up roses again. (everyone's feeling so sorry for LaVar). This love hate relationship with LaVar is one I'll never be able to understand. He's not feeling sorry for us, he made his feelings well understood a couple weeks ago before we played them. It was against that same team that he virtually ended Troy Aikman's career, and some thought that was the greatest thing that could ever have happened to a Cowboy. To feel sorry for a guy who bad mouthed the organization while he was here and since he's been gone is not deserving of my sympathy. I prefer to consider what was expressed a couple weeks ago about him.

I'm not thrilled he's hurt. One thing because I don't like to take joy in someone's injury, and I'm sure a lot of others like me are glad he's no longer a Redskin but didn't wish another injury on him necessarily.

But more importantly, I'm not thrilled he's hurt because really it's just another excuse for him. I'd rather he be playing and screwing things up for the Giants and showing that he's not worth the hype, not anymore.

Injury prone?? He had the same knee ailment for a year and a half. Nothing to do with a torn achilles my man. That is just a freak thing. Same thing happened to Jansen in the preseason a couple years back......I guess Jansen is injury prone too???

Lavar only dissed the new organization that he felt mishandled him, he's never been anything but affectionate about the past organization, DC, its fans, and his glory days here.

I hate to see any player get hurt at any time regardless of who that player plays for. To feel sympathy for LaVar's injury, and glee for the injury he inflicted on Aikman is a contradiction, and that's the only point I was attempting to make here. What' fair for the goose, is fair for.....It's that hero to goat syndrome that's confusing. If you'll go back and read one of my much earlier post I took offense to someone boasting about LaVar's career ending hit on Aikman. My feelings about him as a person has not changed because he got injured.

I hear ya. It's important to understand that for the most part most fans here don't consider Cowboy players actual human beings. I always thought it was kind of sad that the best that could be said about LaVar's career is that he ended the career of a player who was one hit away from his career being over.

If someone gets injured a lot, he's injury prone.

LaVar has had ongoing injury problems the better part of 3 years now. I think it's safe to put him in the injury prone category now.

Whatever Matty. Most of the time I post on here you jump in and throw your 2 cents in. All I am saying is that Williams couldn't have foreseen Lavar tearing his Achilles. Lavar was let go because of his attitude and him not being disciplined on the field and fighting with Dale Lindsay, not because he was injury prone. Injury prone or not.......Williams couldn't have known that Lavar was going to tear his achilles. Its a freak thing that happened. At the end was Lavar hurt or just not playing......so you or anyone else doesn't know how hurt he was last season. So 3 years is a push. He wasn't playing because they didn't like him in the system....that is why he went to Gibbs and made a big stink.

Huh, not sure what you're trying to say with your 2 cents thing.

Anyway, whether it's a freak injury or not doesn't matter. Rex Grossman had some freak injuries, but he was referred to as being injury prone. Shit luck or not, an injury is an injury. And if a guy is injured often, he's injury prone.

I really don't see why calling him injury prone is a big deal, that's all I was talking about.

Just my 2 cents I guess.

Hey don't try to throw your 2 cents in too, otherwise we have like 4 cents going all at once and we just can't have that!

I feel bad for him to an extent, but not that much seeing as how he said some things about the Skins a couple weeks ago before we played them.
