Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
I think that if you take away L.J Smith from him, healthy Donovan looks a lot like hurt Donovan.
We can win this game, but this is the week that we have to start CREATING TURNOVERS. That is what fueled our streak last year and it is what we need to win tough road games this year. If we are +2 in turnovers we can beat Philly. Anything less will take a miracle like what happened today. I believe we were -1 today. (I know the blocked kick is like a turnover but I don't believe it's counted as such)

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
McNabb will absolutely annihilate us if we don't come up with a clever gameplan, I think we will score 20+ points on offense, so it is up to GW to cook up something special this week. I hope stallworth is out, so rogers doesnt have to cover him. Either way, we have a shot!!!!

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
This is the third team this season we are playing after they come off a bye, and all have been on the road. That is brutal. The trick is going to be time of possession and turnovers, IMO. Keeping McNabb off the field is step one; TOs when he is moving it is step two. Be nice to see Vincent get a pick in Philly.
We're going to need 24 points to win, given Philly's pass-happy attack. But I think Philly will get real down on itself if we come out strong. They've lost some tough ones recently, and those philly-fans like to boo their own team as much as they like to drink perfume and turpentine (it's WAY cheaper than Thunderbird or any of the classy stuff...) and yell "Yo, Adrian!" Hit em early and often.

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
Yeah what's up with playing all these teams coming off a bye??
Like going to Philly isn't tough enough we have to give them 2 weeks to prepare and get healthy. |

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
Yea, i think we should all be a little nervous about this one. We haven't exactly played well on the road this year. If fact we've been pretty miserable (except hou). We can win but we've got to play our best game.

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
If anything, I think we score plenty on Filthy. Their defense is shit all of a sudden.

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
I'm looking at the NFC East team's schedules for the remaining of the season. If we can go 6-2 and the Giants and Eagles each go 3-5, with Dallas at 4-4 we get the division. This assuming we are tied with the Giants at 9-7 and us getting the division tie-breaker (4-2).

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
the giants are going to win the division, they already have got by their tough part of the schedule IMO and should finish 12-4 or 11-5. if we want to make the playoffs its through the wildcard, where we are only 1 game out i believe
