Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
It IS the truth, much to the chagrin of the entire Redskins populace. I just wish that putting Campbell in didn't equate to giving up on the season. Why not just trying to give the team a better chance to win?

I said it before and I will say it again Gibbs is horrified to take Brunell out of a game. I just don't understand at this point why? Is Campbell really that bad? |

There, now your "quote" stands corrected.
Welcome! We hope you have more to say than the two cow-not-quite-men comments you've managed to squeeze into this thread. Even 5-rings and sandtrapjack, two other cow-not-quite-men have added substance to discussions. You can too if you put your little mind to it! MB is tough as nails, but I felt it was time after the first week's result.

He did face some decent pressure all day, but it's like if his first option isn't open, it's dump off city.

With his left hand, just to prove to Brunell that he can do it better.

Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
Seriously guys, why not lighten up a bit? We are what we are. We're not a good team. The defense is a couple players away from being elite again. The offense has the playmakers and just needs a quarterback. Is it Campbell? I sure hope so, but if not, that's the position that needs to be addressed before this team even whispers playoffs or Super Bowl.

he would need to throw 60 td's the way the defense has been playing.

hey giggity, and you make a good point. why not come out super aggressive and try to outscore our opponent? our defense isn't getting any better. lets take the air coryell approach

Re: Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye
One of the things most disturbing to me is.......Brunell does not look comfortable, confident, and hasn't. His feet don't look set. Good protection or not, you have to figure out a way to get comfortable enough to play. If he is not confident, is the team confident in him? The lack of O production is not all his fault, but does the team believe he can do it? if not, are they puttin' out?
