and it makes pointless, boring matches interesting, in that you just want to see how your Fantasy team's WR is going to do.
it also helps open your eyes to the entire league, instead of only knowing the names of the redskin roster i'd recommend it. |

Someone back there had a great idea, we should all do a league where we pick the winners each week based on the spread, its free and everyone can do it

I have made the offer several times, and will make it one more time. I will run a league free for you if you like, and even moderate a live phone draft (you pay the long distance - totally insignificant with one of those 3-cent-per-minute calling cards). If you want me to do the pay league, I can take MasterCard and VISA as well as checks if you want me to hold the prize fund. NFSL has been running leagues since 1990 (one of the two oldest services still operating). We have a very strong reputation for integrity, and a large, loyal customer base.
The rules are wide open. We can handle virtually any rule set, and get our raw stats from Stats, Inc, the best in the business. We can offer virtually any stat you want in the scoring system. We run a Weekly Dream Team Game that is totally free - only the high scoring team from each league may play in it the following week - $100/50/25 prizes awarded every week for 14 weeks. The final 4 teams in EVERY league get to compete free in our post-season tournament with $2500 in prizes. Every league champ gets a BEAUTIFUL plaque with football cards of 7 of his best players mounted around the engraved plate. Once someone plays NFSL, they stay with NFSL. Try it and see why - I will exend the offer for a free league for as many seasons as you want to use it. It can either be a re-draft or keeper league. Just let me know. By the way, someone mentioned gambling. The fantasy game has been determined by Congress to NOT be considered gambling. However, a pick-em pool definitely IS. wow, great pitch. I rather have the free league be a re-draft, its more fair and lets new people start next year without a disadvantage.

I'm excited for this. Just post when and where to sign up. Two pay leagues sounds great, and though I like PayPal too, VISA/Mastercard is always the easiest.
When would we draft? There is honestly nothing better than a well-run live draft... |

Free is my price range , but if someone could collect and clarify all the current pay/free leagues and pools with their rules that be great, cause right now i'm a bit confused over exactly how many leagues we're going to have

Looks to me like there's going to be two pay leagues, at least one free league and one pick'em group. Most pick'em groups can be as large as you want.

I'm in for the free league for the same reasons as everyone else (broke). I've played through Yahoo the past couple of years and I love it. It'll be nice to have more than one roster.

How many leagues we have will be based on how many people are interested. Last year for example we had 1 pay league and 1 free league, along with a pick 'em league. All the leagues were hosted on Yahoo, and it looks like we'll probably go that way again this year.
There will be a live draft for the pay leagues. The free league will probably be an auto draft, but we can certainly do a live draft if that's what the majority want. For the pick 'em league, last year we picked against the spread. We can do that again, or just go straight up, or by confidence points, it's completely up to what everyone wants. We could even have a pay pick 'em league along with a free one. |
