C'mon. Jimmy Johnson is the one who made it all happen. What happened after Jimmy left? He won with Barry S but that was all Jimmy's players.

Since their run in the mid 90's the Cowboys' record since 1997 is 73-87. Those titles are a long time ago now.
The Redskins under Snyder since 1999 are actually two games better than the Cowboys during the same time period. The Redskins are 59-69 while the Cowboys are 57-71. |

So, why doesn't Jerry Jones stop the charade and just name himself as the head coach of the team? He's the owner, president, CEO and GM already. He just needs to name himself as the head coach and there won't be any conflict in Dallas. Except that the losses would pile up even faster than they have in this millenium.
The bad news - if Jones,does that - is that Danny Boy may feel as if he has to match that show of football insight. [shudder!] That would put Dallas and the Skins in the position of "perennial contenders for the #1 pick in the draft"...
