Re: Expectations for this year?
The Pats game is really going to tell us where we stand... I cannot wait! I personally feel we do match up very well with the pats as long as the DL can stop the run consistantly. It should be one hell of a game!

Re: Expectations for this year?
The D-line stopping the run consistently is a HUGE if.

Re: Expectations for this year?
D_Line is a BIGGGGG concern IMO. We beefed up our secondary ENORMOUSLY but didnt address our line which tells me one of two things:
A. Our FO really IS retarded and were fucked for the next 5-8 years or B. GW and Co. see a little something extra in Montgomery and Golston that not many others have seen. Agreed, we had a lot of injuries last year to Salavea and Griffin but....they need to step the hell up. I predict our offense explodes in a very Colts like manner. JC's repoire with the recievers should be better which will lead to a more potent passing attack which, in turn, will allow Betts and CP to run amok on people. FINALLY, this year Chris Cooley makes it to the ProBowl. He deserves it so much. I mean, name one TE in the NFC (besides Alge Crumpler) who deserves it more. .... Thought so. Record: 2-2 preseason 10-5 regular season Oh and were the NFC East champs too. We sweep Dallas and lose once to Philly and once to NY.

I could see Dallas beating us in their house. But we're definitely sweeping NY.

Maybe buy, God I hope not. I agree, as long as Eli stays in Ny and keeps bouncing passes in Burress' direction I think we have a pretty good shot at winning. Oh wait....NO MORE TIKI!?!?!?! I totally forgot!!!!!! New prediction 11-5 We sweep NY. No more Tiki. Long live Eli Ripken. hehehe

Haha. Yeah, that makes me imagine a lot of angry posters talking about how we need to get rid of Santana for a 4th round pick and how lost we would have been without comeback player of the year Brandon Lloyd.

Hey Smooty. Stuart Scott seems to be a cool dude, and I by no means am dissing the man. But, when you talk to him, and look him in the eye, which eye do you look at?

Re: Expectations for this year?
I have extremely high hopes every season and feel the heartache and depression almost every week. Well, 11 times last year. I just do not understand why a team with this many good players has to stink it up. Im sure Im a bit biased but still, Ill be disappointed if they don't win at least 1 playoff game and Im predicting 11-5. I really do not want to go back to Seattle again.

Well I've only met him a couple of times and very briefly, and it's kind of tough not to notice

Re: Expectations for this year?
I am thinking 9-7 to be honest. I base this on our semi weak non divisonal schedule, plus with JC as the starter out of the gate we should be good for at least 3-4 more wins than from last season. I want to say 10-6 or 11-5, but I said that the past 2 seasons and we totally blew it last year. If our D line can stay healthy and play some inspired ball we should be in decent shape, but that is a big IF. One also has to wonder about how well Washington comes back from surgery. Anything in the Post or Wash sports radio about that?
