Saw the movie today. It was pretty bad ass. Love Bumblebee. Glad to see he was in the movie. I didn't care much for the way they made that Decepticon that would transform into a cassette (he's a boombox in this one). His name escapes me now. He was a little too Jar Jar Binksy for me.

But Optimus and the other autobots looked awesome. Though in some scenes it was a bit hard to tell who was who. But who cares, it was still bad ass. After the movie, I went to the parking lot and hugged my RAV4. Who knows, maybe he's a robot in disguise protecting me at all times.

And Eddie from Family Matters was the voice of Jazz!

Anyhow, pour a 40 on the sidewalk for OP

Soundwave? Did he have the panther and vulture cassettes in the movie? I really want to see it but I've used up a lot of "my time" recently so it will cost me much valued points with The Lady if I go anytime soon.

best movie this year. i liked it more than 300, and i really liked 300... definately worth seeing.

i watched the late show and just got back. Great movie for the summer. Some people say its one of the better movies in years but these aren't exactly my favorite types of movies. However, I still loved this movie and may actually go watch it again if some of my other friends ask me.

I thought the Decepticon language in the beginning was pretty cool... very futuristic sounding.

Pretty seamless cg and was actually digging the humor throughout.

Anyone catch the JJ Abrams trailer right before the flick? It's tentatively called "Cloverfield" and it looks like it may be a Godzilla flick (from a handheld perspective), but they're keeping it under wraps pretty good.

yeah I saw that too. we had some people wondering if it had something to do with Lost cuz of the noise the creature makes in the distance and the Bad Robot logo, but I doubt that very seriously. it looked pretty sweet though.

Well he uses Bad Robot for everything he does, that's his production company (J.J. Abrams, that is). Some have speculated it is a clever LOST promo, some say Godzilla, others some Stephen King movie.

Thing is January 18 (the film's supposed released date) isn't exactly prime movie release time. It is right around when LOST returns though. Except LOST returns on a Wednesday, not a Friday.
