I soured on the whole thing when a congressman got involved. That's a big red flag right there.

Vick isn't going to get Atlanta to the promsied land and is an embarassment to the franchise. They made a grave error with trying to build the franchise around him and now it will be time to clean up the mess. A new town might get him to get his shit together and maybe play to more of his potential. Right now though, he sucks on or off the field.

Well, NEVER trust a democrat!
Ok, but seriously, I see your point, but it seems that he is in it for legit reasons, it's just that he likely has an alterior motive to gain fame through this. Maybe he is planning to run for President in 2012 or something?

Let me know when Vick is actually charged with something. Otherwise, "Change the channell, Marge".

Again...there is a reason he is in trouble with the feds, and it's not cause he keeps his nose clean.

Michael Vick doesnt even know what was going on at his houses. He really should be a better judge at character.

If they had something on him everyone and their second uncle would know by now.

Even if they had something it wouldn't be anything that a high priced lawyer couldn't fix.

I would be absolutely shocked if he misses more than a few hours of camp.

I don't think he'll miss anything. These investigations take forever and a day for anything to pop up. He'll be playing this year and the media will ask him after every tough loss "so do you think your off the field issues are causing a distraction"...and all of us will be yelling at the TV...NO IT'S CAUSE HE CAN'T THROW FOR SHIT.

Re: **UPDATE**: Vick Not Likely to Be Indicted Following Raid

Falcons could break Vick contract
Posted: Tuesday July 10, 2007 07:46AM ET
On that giddy day in December 2004 when the Falcons signed Michael Vick to a 10-year, $130 million contract, Arthur Blank gushed: "He's a Falcon for life." Vick's contract, though, is not nearly as binding as the Falcons owner's words suggested. If, theoretically, the Falcons wanted to trade or release their embattled quarterback, his contract would not necessarily preclude it. The biggest hurdle would be the impact against the team's salary cap, but that impact, although still hefty, shrank as of June 1. The hit would be $6 million-plus for 2007 and about $15 million for 2008.
