Re: I guess Romo's contract extension
You know if JC had a game like that then lead the team down for a score and a few more recptions to get us into FG range for the win the reaction would be. Wow he held things together, what a come back, he got us the win even with 5 ints., etc...

Well at least you hit the TOOL on the head. If he keeps up the GREAT JOB he did last night not for long! In the LONG run we have a MUCH more COMPLETE QB for the future THAN YOUR homo.

Say what you want, he had the worst possible game a QB could ever have, EXCEPT for the fact that even though he was playing crappy, even though he almost single handedly gave the game away, when the game was on the line he still drove his team downfield for 2 scores in 20 seconds to win. Say what you want, but nothing diminishes that fact. There are only a very small handful of QB's in the league that have that type of "moxy". |

And as far as scoring twice in 20 seconds; it was actually once in 2+ minutes, and then a 19 yard drive after an onside kick. Do that against New England and I'll be impressed. |

Re: I guess Romo's contract extension
I can't stand that little punk Romo, words can't describe how overrated and arrogant he is. I hope he flames out again this season like he did last season. My best memory of Romo so far is when he fumbled that snap on the field goal attempt last season against Seattle. That was classic! I hope last night was a sign of things to come! For just next Sunday at least I'll say, GO PATRIOTS!!!!!

Re: I guess Romo's contract extension
I was shocked that Romo threw so many picks too, but the Bills played this guy exactly the way I would have played him. Dropping as many guys into coverage as possible. He's great on the move and outside the pocket, I say spy him and make in stay in the pocket and beat you with his arm. If you still manage to stop the run while doing this (never easy) you'll be set. Unless Barber starts then it's not that tough to believe that this could work.
That's the gameplan everyone started using last year, first it was: put pressure on the young guy, then it became: confuse him with your coverages and it worked. He looked mediocre at best down the stretch and that's why. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why so many teams felt the need to keep bringing heat, he's a shifty guy who can make you miss and still complete passes, pressure doesn't phase him enough, so I say, go with exotic coverages. |

I'm reading a lot about how the "Cowboys played better because they wanted it more." Sometimes, that's just total BS. If the Bills do the NON-IDIOT thing and run the ball and settle for the FG, that game is out of reach, but no, instead they try to pass and get a TD for NO reason. The onside kicks, the coverage, I chalk it up to ineptitude on a magnificent scale to lose that game.
