Re: Thanks Skins
Now you're blaming the team for Taylor's death?

Re: Thanks Skins
An injury alone does not excuse for your TEAM responsibilities. The coach thought he was still in DC. He did not have permission to be in Florida, and as a result, brought on what happened, as unfortunate as it is.
Because my thoughts don't seem to agree with the majority of the posters here, I am the bad guy. Sorry, it does not work that way. Don't agree with me, that's you right. But don't just assume that because you don't agree, that it is wrong. It is not a matter of right or wrong, it is a matter of opinion. Had he had permission to be in Florida, my opinion might differ, but as it is, he didn't, and my opinion stands. |

Re: Thanks Skins
Dewd you threadjacked a Positive thread to slam YER opinion. Pay Attention BOY. Make a thread or find a thread that fits yer opinion and don't feel we need you to cram yer opinion down our throat in what was a Possitive thread.
First, if you are going to post to a public forum, at least TRY to make yourself look educated in the slightest. That aside.......... The thread is titled "Thanks Skins" My original post was basically asking thanks for what? So I am on the correct board for that post. |

Re: Thanks Skins
Harsh but honest. Let me guess, in relation to football, a full contact sport, I now have to tip toe around words and thoughts simply because there was a death on the roster?

Re: Thanks Skins
Too bad we couldnt pull it off, we deserved it and it would have been a big swing game for the skins.

Re: Thanks Skins
I already apologized if I offended anyone, I suppose you missed that.
I never stated that the TEAM got Taylor killed, his actions and poor decision making lead to his death. Not to say that anyone other than who pulled the trigger got him killed. |

Re: Thanks Skins
I'm going to get back on track here...
Thanks Skins for putting together a positive game under such negative circumstances. While emotions seemed to carry the game early on, circumstances of the week seemed to take its toll down the stretch. I, for one, cannot blame the team if they collapse under the stress of Sean's death and the teams endless string of injuries. I cannot judge, because I am not there, but I don't believe I would be able to focus on football in meetings, in the film room, and sometimes even in a huddle at this point. Just do your best. I'll be behind you. Forever a skins fan!

1. I don't think this is a public forum... i think someone owns it. This isn't the public park... your taxes don't pay for it. 2. I explain exactly what I was thanking them for in my first post. Read it before you ask stupid questions and chime in with your negative ignorant opinion based on inaccuracies. 3. There were plenty of places people with the same feelings you were feeling were venting and I didn't have the energy for that kind of discussion, so I started one where I reflected upon my own feelings. I saw alot of raw emotion from these players today and to be honest I wouldn't have been at work. Tomorrow they go to bury a teammate. I wanted to express my gratitude for having the balls to go out and play a game today, because I guarantee this one hurt the team alot more than it fucking hurt you ... but maybe the team owes you an apology. Tell you what... hold your fucking breath.

Nice work. My guess is that you are torn limb from limb by other posters, and rightfully so. I usually don't support personal attacks, but if you get attacked let's just say I'm looking the other way. |

Re: Thanks Skins
Being new here, which I do not deny, I have taken it kind of easy with what I post in relation to my thoughts. I can only imagine what you closed minded people would say of the posts I have made on foxsports.com.
NOW, let me do this, for a THIRD time. I APOLOGIZE IF MY THOUGHTS OFFEND ANYONE. I am a lifelong Skins fan, and as disappointed and heartbroken as I am currently, I will continue to be a fan. I will however not attend anymore games or purchase anymore skins merchandise until they give me a reason to root for them. Just giving up on games as they have all year long does not make for happy fans. |
