Re: Pro Bowl 2008
Agreed - how did Addai get in over Fred Taylor? Addai, one of five Colts on the AFC squad, has 1,019 yards rushing, 72 yards fewer than Taylor and an average of 4.1 yards per carry, a full yard less than the 31-year-old Jacksonville star. |

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
Probably because Fred is splitting time with Jones-Drew...

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
The afc roster seems to be heavier on the name recognition over performance.
I think the nfc roster is pretty good in terms of who had the best seasons. I don't know why people here are shocked at L. Davis making it. The cowpokes o line has been outstanding & he's been a big part of it. Barber has had a great year too & has become very valuable to a great offense. He fumbled for the FIRST TIME in his career v. Detroit. Portis has put the ball on the ground a lot & has looked sluggish at times. Again, I don't understand the arguments against Barber. At least come up w/something better than Portis. Stephen Jackson is the only other guy that I can think of & he missed a no. of games. Westbrook certainly had a great year. |

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
AC, as someone pointed out earlier, was simply in a crowded position. The 3 guys in front of him have had huge seasons, though Osi had 6 of his sacks in one game. Don't know if he was that effective through all his games. AC certainly has played the way we need him to.
Fletcher is a tough call. If we had won 10+ games he'd be in. |

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
One thing in the defense of the Barber, in the Barber vs Portis debate.
Barber had FAR FAR less carries than Portis and has been a solid producer all season, has not missed a game and is a beast in the red-zone. |

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
using this logic means no way Marion Barber makes it. besides, he is a part time player that cant even start on his own team. while i like him as a back, no way would anyone take him over Portis

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
Great to see Sean Taylor, and Chris Cooley make it both of them really deserved it. Also congrats to Chris Samuels on his 5th selection.

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
Pro Bowl: Samuels, Cooley, Taylor
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but the Skins also have five alternates named to the Pro Bowl should players ahead of them get injured: Mike Sellers is a first alternate. Clinton Portis, and Rock Cartwright are second alternates. London Fletcher, and LaRon Landry are third alternates. |

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
I would take Fletcher over Lofi or Willis. Of course I think Pierce and Urlachar should make it over either of them as well. People don't realize that we are a top ten team in yards and rushing and a lot of the reason is Fletcher.

Tony Richardson is from the Vikings.. and I think people are giving him too much credit for Adrian Peterson/Chestor Taylor attack (they have one of the best offensive lines) |
