Re: Your MVP this year?
Great thread, and extremely tough choice if we're not doing Co-MVPs. If I had to pick one, I'd have to go with Cooley. If I could pick multiple folks, I'd go with:
Offense: Cooley Defense: Carter (could make a case for Sean Taylor despite his missing a third of the season and the rest of eternity) Special teams: Doesn't matter - Rock and Suisham have both been solid, but I wouldn't elevate either to MVP status. Collins doesn't get picked only because he didn't play the first three quarters of the year. In fairness, this team has had several MVPs. Can anyone honestly say Springs and Smoot haven't played like Pro-Bowlers the last few games? Portis too. Samuels? Montgomery? Fletcher? It is a testament to the team that its hard to single out one person as the MVP. |

Re: Your MVP this year?
Agreed. And Landry has been unbelievable in terms of the number of key plays he has made. Saved the MNF game against Philly early in the year, saved the 4th and 1 against Adrian Peterson and the Vikes when they were gaining momentum, just to name a few.

Re: Your MVP this year?
im going to go out on a limb here. MVP is Samuels, with fletcher a close 2nd. portis hasnt been consistent enough to be the MVP, collins hasnt played enough...throughout the WHOLE season i think samuels and fletcher have been the most consistent, thus samuels 1 fletcher 2, both have made big differences for our team

Re: Your MVP this year?
Well, if someone already said this I must have missed it. If this sounds corny or stupid, tough...My MVP for this team is without a doubt Sean Taylor. He was hands down the best player on the team before he was taken from us, and he is hands down the spirit that is driving this train now. I believe that each and every Redskin, coaches included, are playing and coaching their guts out with the effort and intensity Sean brought on a daily basis. I don't know how long they can keep it up, but it is fun to watch. Sean Taylor is the MVP.

I like the Portis passer rating guy. I think portis should be all time qb and just run the ball every play and if he is going to get sacked just throw the ball.

I would have to say that if Sean were alive he would be at the top of the list. Sean Taylor for MVP!!

i don't really think anyone stands out enough to be an MVP... cooley's been the most consistent though.

Re: Your MVP this year?
Hrm, this is tough for me. No one stands out. I'm not feeling Portis, he's disappeared in too many games to get my MVP. I'd like to say Cooley, but he's white and I hate the white devil, him and that pale ass Todd Collins.

Re: Your MVP this year?
Sean Taylor helped us get off to a hot start. No one else has really seperated from the pack, so he gets my vote.
