If the Giants win the SB Shockey's days are #'rd, Boss has stepped up and doesn't have an attitude, plus Eli has one less person asking for the ball all the time and they are winning without him.

Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants
It should be noted that Eli Manning is not the same quarterback. When we look back on his career, we will be able to separate it into 2004-Week 16 2007 and Week 17 2007 to its conclusion. That appears to be when it finally clicked inside his head, and the turnovers became a thing of the past.
He's going to throw interceptions at some point, but Eli Manning has gone from just a hair above the "Kitna-Line", to legitimate NFL starting QB. The Giants were already good against the run, but now they have a passing game also, and are a pass defense away from being THE dominant team in the NFC.

Coughlin is such a tool, with the way he acts when things out of anyones control don't always go his way, but he's not the awful football coach people think he is.

Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants
That's because you're a Giants fan. It makes sense to want to be in the worst Super Bowl ever rather than be it at home watching. I'm not sure why you and giantone are taking it as an insult. It won't be a good game.

Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants
WOW! You guys are better men than me!!!!! I'm really, really, really surprised some of you are really congratulating the Giants.
Look, I'm 40 years young, and been a Redskins fan for 25 years (since about 1983), and there's just no way I can congratulate or otherwise give any accolades to the Dallas Cowboys, New Giants or Philadelphia Eagles. Nodda to any NFC East rival. Period! Now I know the New England Patriots totally dismantled us this past season, and I hate them for that, however, what a sucky Superbowl this will be with these two teams. ROD Brooklyn, New York |
