If you increase taxes on them here in this country you're just adding more weight to that burden. You're actually incenting them to headquarter themselves elsewhere.

Basically my feelings in a nutshell as well.

I'm no fan of McCain and I have my issues with him. My vote for him, however, is more a case of "choosing the lesser of two evils." Which is what I did last election. And the one before that. In fact I can't remember a candidate that I truly, genuinely supported as much as I just didn't like the other guy.

I guess I vote out of spite

Speaking of polls, here's some news on swing states. Obama is taking a lead in New Hampshire and Michigan while McCain is moving ahead in Virginia and Missouri.

it affects us more than it affects them, so i'm not too concerned with that. besides, 4 years from now that'll probably change anyways - they have yet to deal with him on any policy issue whatsoever.

You are not running for president sir...if you were, I'd say the same about you. Out of love and respect for your country you put your hand over your heart. He knows this, he doesn't do it for a reason. Unsure of where the propaganda is here...it's pretty straight forward. I watched your link, but that doesn't explain WHY he didn't put his hand over his heart, just trying to downplay it. Cause 1- did it happen? YES. 2- Does Obama explain why he didn't do it, NO. Hmmmmmm. Sounds like Democratic propaganda to do damage control.

See the video i posted, explains it there. There are plenty of times where he puts his hand on his heart for the pledge. And for the anthem its always 50-50, next time you go to a game or anything like that just look around. Seems like 50% of America don't think that means you don't love your country.

I am just shocked that people have to go so far outta their way to find a "negative" when they could just look at policy. But hey it's just politics, Dems do it too and I hate it as well. Just this whole terrorist, not an-american, hates our country bs from the right really irritates me. I didn't mind the Kerry is a flip-flopper deal so much. This just seems like a low-blow.

I guess it's too much to ask the candidates to stick to the issues when the people clearly cannot.

Everyone hates the propaganda machine but it obviously works when you see people buying in to the stupidest shit.

Look at us here. We've got saden posting a bunch of YT clips and equating the Republicans with dirty tampons, Buster implying the whole left is a bunch of flag-burners, jsarno clinging to one minor little clip of Obama during the Pledge of Allegiance and saying who knows what about the antichrist, and so on.

And for the most part we're talking about people here who (even if I don't agree with their political beliefs/opinions) have shown they have pretty good knowledge of the actual issues. (Others here, of course, have shown they should just stick to football). Yet it's like no one even cares anymore about anything but belittling the other side. Hopefully, whoever it is that is elected, the country can rally around the new President and put Country First (couldn't resist

I support Obama and I will vote for him in November, but I have my reservations about him and his policies. I also don't care for the vilification of McCain and Palin. This is by no means a slam dunk decision.
