I was thinking the exact same thing. Win the coin toss, chose to receive, get a nice return from Rock, then bombs away. It would be deflating for them, and it would fire up our defense and the crowd big time.

Re: Injury report

So much for using the bye week to rest up our players and get healthy for the stretch run. Yikes!

This is the time for Campbell to shine. For him to step up and be the man, without having to lean on Portis. I think he's ready. He's just got to show it now

From JLC
The Official Injury Report - Redskins Insider

One big hit on the cowboys side is that Felix Jones is out.
I really wonder how bad Shawn Springs must have been?? There must be more to this story?
Otherwise, I think we are in pretty good shape.

GO SKINS!!!

Re: Injury report

I want to see the nasty rookies get out and involved this week with Portis hobbled. Also, I think this is the last season we will see Mr. Springs in a Skins uniform. I just can't believe how much time he has been spending on the bench.

well one would hope, but Zorn has not talked up Kelly, and Thomas is listed with a "illness" on the injury report...

I bet half of those snaps will be on special teams...probably as a gunner on punts due to his speed.

Yeah but Zorn saide a few times Kelly is way too far behind to contribute... not sure what's going on here but doesn't sound like Kelly will even be active.
Especially frustrated since so many rook WR/TE are having huge seasons already. Like someone else said it does feel like the coaches just didn't spend much time w/ the 2nd team - focused too much on starters. Maybe that's understandable though since everyone had to learn a brand new system and obviously you want your 1st team to be ready to play ball.

HTTR!

(I'm so f'n jacked for this sunday... )

Thomas, Davis or Kelly doing something would just make my week. I'm all pumped up, if SA can do his thing on Sunday, what a day it would be!!!

I was just kidding with you DIRTEE. Yeah we need our rookies to step up. We also need Zorn to call their number and give them a chance to see what they can do. Sunday night would be a good time to start contributing. I'm really pumped for this game too. I can't wait to see our defense start laying the Riddell on their ass!
