Playing in high school (I know, no comparison to the NFL) our coach told us that anytime we scored we should the O should celebrate with the man who crossed the plane, because we all busted our asses in practice and got beat up in games just to get those 6 points. He said we deserved it. I don't see why that doesn't aply here

it does apply, and if the team scores they ought to celebrate. The only reason to stop it is because players making tons of money are getting their feelings hurt. both sides need to grow up and let the fans enjoy when their team scores(insert Redskin comment here
 )
