Re: 2009 Free Agents
Thank you. Now after this game there's no way he is going to become a FA, they'll sign him specially with Tomlinson getting nicked up on a regular basis.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I see Jacobs as more of a replacement for Portis. if they want to compliment him i thing Sproles would be a better choice.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I agree with the fact that our O line is the first issue to address. Although if Marcus Washington is released we NEED another LB, I just dont trust Blades and McIntosh out there together, Dansby or Vilma would be a very nice pickup.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I know they both play MLB but I really think they could adjust to an OLB position, especially with the help of London.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I say sign Maurice Morris and trade Betts. I say sign Tauscher to be the right tackle. Draft a Guard. Sign Haynesworth and Suggs (to be our LOLB), reduced Taylor salary. Sign Nugent and Lechler to be starters. Sign Jovan Haye for inside push at defensive tackle.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Can I get some lottery numbers from you? Wow, you were really dead on. I wish he didn't because I was hoping we'd have a good shot at him this offseason. Now, I doubt it will happen but he is exactly what our offense and special teams lack, a truly explosive player who can score anytime he touches the ball.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
.
True, I doubt they will get Sproles. My point was more that Jacobs and Portis do not compliment one another...you need one of those 2 in combination with a homerun threat

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Good move on their part. If Brady has to have scar tissue removed that was left behind by infection, there's a chance he won't play next year. They get Cassell for one more year and then can decide next year what to do at the QB position.
