I agree that CP isnt too bright but I also think the he is very insecure. That insecurity is what causes his to say what he says and constantly want to be the center of attention.

Hi
I'm new to the board here. The only thing that I would find shocking is if The Little Danny and his side kick Vinny let Colt compete for the starting QB position next season.
I guess another shocker would be if Vinny started drafting for "need" instead of just the best player available or another...Punter.

CP does what hes asked, can we as fan want anything more from him. sure he gets upset when the team makes a bad play and hes on the sideline. wouldnt all of you. knowing that you could have been out there and there might have been a different outcome. and after going 6-2 and thinking that this is gonna be a special season to go 2-6 the rest of the way that would be extremely frustrating. i like CP and think that his personality is great for the redskins.

I think that Jason Campbell was talking in generalities. He'd be shocked if wasn't the starter or they drafted another QB. I'd be too.
I forgot who posted it but they're right, if you look at the Salary Cap there's no way that CP gets traded or gets cut, period. I used to entertain such ideas myself before I started to understand how the cap works for and against us.
I think Moss would be a good trade but wouldn't pick up TJ. I'd just get more O and D-line guys with the picks. If we traded down one of our picks then we'd be able to get another WR. Why we would need to is beyond me?
This is all speculation so far. If we kept him I wouldn't cry.
I read that Zorn said that they'll be bringing in competition for Kicker and Punter. He also hinted around that the lines would be addressed in the draft. I'd be happy if this bears fruit. I was a TJ guy until I found out how old he is. I thought he was younger? No, I'm just getting older.

Portis has not complained this year about not getting the ball? HMMM shale we go back or you can just go to the last Portis thread.

Not Shocking: CP's Mamma kick'in the crap out of Vinnie if trade rumors surface.
How about throwing a ball into tight coverage.

Sorry, I don't see T.O. and Portis as being equals in the cancer dept.

Re: Campbell's "shocking" statement and the offseason

1.) You never hear Portis complain when we are winning. Now when we end the season on a 2-6 streak then you hear him complain. We all complained when we ended 2-6. OMG Portis said the o-line sucked and the offense sucks. Guess what they couldn't block anything and the offense does blow. Im sure Portis isn't the only one frustrated with the way the offense has played over the last 5 years, so he comes out and says it to the media. He is the face of the franchise isnt he. What do you want him to say, that "there just a few plays a way" or some crap like that. Yea he's frustrated just like everyone on this website.

2.) Does anyone really think that TJ is the answer to our offense?? If you do tell me how.

3.) Why trade moss and or portis. Portis is by far the best player we have, since when are we rebuilding.

T.O. has a history of being a head case and the media goes after him to get him to say crap. Despite Portis' comments, he does not have the reputation of a T.O. or Chad Johnson, so the media does not go after him...well except the John Thompson show.

I really hope this is the case. I was disgruntled when Suisham was back this year and the last 8 games he really had a lackluster performance. In the Cowboys, Ravens, Bengals, 49ers (I think but am not sure about this one) games there were missed field goals that may have altered the game.
