Re: Who are you rooting for in Super Bowl XLIII?

I'm in the Cards camp for 3 reason: 1) They've never won the SB, 2) They're an NFC team, and 3) I'll be able rip on Seahawk fans with "everyone in the NFC Least has a SB except you guys."

Cardinals!... gotta root for the underdogs...especially here.

Plus I had my "TD Trio" of Warner, Boldin, & Fitzgerald in fantasy all year... they did serious work. (and people thought i was crazy when i took Kurt)

Can't wait for the "Thank You Jesus". Anybody who was stocking shelves and then became the MVP has got my vote.

I feel like the Cards in the next couple years have the chance to be the next Rams type offense (Greatest Show on Turf II). I guess it depends on KW health and ML progression.

Go Cards, i don't dislike the steelers as an orginization b/c they do it the right way. Im pulling for the Cards for the fact I can't stand steeler fans. After living 5 years south of pittsburgh i grew a extreme hate for their fans. It got even worse after being there for that monday night game(thanks all you skins fans selling your tickets to them) half their fans have no real connection with the city of pittsburgh and it makes it more anoying. It sure is easy for someone to cheer for a team thats in the playoffs almost every year than your hometown team were you are from.

Def. going for the Cards as well. I've always had a soft spot for them because of their history and I like several of their players as well. I'd love to see Adrian Wilson and Larry Fitz get rings too.

Also mainly cuz I still have that dislike thing going for the Steelers after the mockery they made at Fedex Field earlier this season. Not just that I don't want them to become the first team with 6 rings either.

Re: Who are you rooting for in Super Bowl XLIII?

I actually dreamt about the Super Bowl last night. I dreamt that the Steelers scored a TD with about 20 seconds left in the game to take a 22-21 lead. Then they decided to go for two, just in case the Cardinals could get a FG in the last few seconds of the game to send it into OT. Berry hit Roethlisberger hard and he fumbled the ball, there was a mad scramble for the ball until Rolle picked up and started racing toward the end zone with time running out. He got to about the 11 yard line before a bunch of Steelers jumped on him ending the game.

Wow. Pretty vivid dream. You've got it here in print, so let's see if you're some kind of clairvoyant.

That seems eerily similar to the Colts-Steelers AFC Championship game when Bettis fumbled, Nick Harper picked it up and was heading for the game winning score, and Big Ben saved the game with his shoestring tackle....

I'm going Arizona. I'm a huge Kurt Warner guy, they're in the NFC, we beat them this season.... I do like Mike Tomlin and would love Ryan Clark to have a Super Bowl Ring too, so I wouldnt be upset if Pittsburgh won.

I wouldn't mind if Pittsburgh won either, that would shut up all these New England fans who whine about not being called a dynasty.

Re: Who are you rooting for in Super Bowl XLIII?

Cardinals. Why? Because they never have. Steelers have 5 trophies. Isn't that enough? I always thought the Redskins would eventually catch up with the Steelers and the Cowboys and the Niners...
Gotta love old man Kurt Warner and the rest of their young team. Great team and personal story. Steelers always seem to field a great team. I have the utmost respect for the Steelers and their organization. Top to bottom. Steelers should win by 14 or more. As long as the Cards can score it'll be a great game!

I won't be disappointed reguardless of the outcome because I don't dislike one of the teams like I would if the Eagles or Patriots were playing.
