It was an ironic statement from a guy who always promotes building the front lines first.

Sorry for causing trouble, but on a positive note it is nice that more and more people understand when I'm kidding. I guess though it was my fault for throwing in running back since at the very least it's on the verge of becoming a need, but SCSkins fan is right I do promote building up front first.

But Eknox to answer your question, if I was going to take a running back for us at 13 well then I'd like to the team take a chance with Knowshon. And for the record I'm not a UGA fan, or a GT fan for that matter. However there's a lot of big uglies that I'd like to see us take before we go after a running back. In fact I would rather wait until we have a young O-Line before we even think about taking a Running Back early.

The ones that we have rated A+ are not only pretty good mocks as far as accuracy, but are also draft sites that have either been around more than 5 years or are associated with professional nfl scouting firms. One of my favorites of course is Draft Countdown, Scott Wright.

We may actually do our own grading this year. Might need to recruit some Warpath members to help out.

Todd Mcshay has us picking up Brian Orakpo with the 13th pick.

I'm 50/50 on it. Still want Maualuga.

This is professional football, not fantasy football.
Draft Maualuga, he could be the next Ray Lewis or at worst the next Lofa Tatupa.

I've heard some pretty reliable sources suspect that Andre Smith is actually going to fall all the way down to us...which would just be ridiculous

I would love it! Learning under Samuels, another Tide alumni.

2009 NFL Mock Draft Database

Updated with 177 mock drafts and now have 37 mocks updated in FEB.

We also have updated our Mock Database consensus picks, consensus from the mock drafts that have updated over the last 6 days. That includes the Redskins pick at #13.

I mean that sounds awesome but why would that happen considering he was expected to go top 5? Is there a downside to him not yet totally out of the bag or are you saying we're gonna have Christmas in April this year SS?

... also curious which tackle spot you think he'll land. I mean is it foregone Samuels stays @ LT and the new guy takes over RT?

If the other teams want to take the skill positions and leave the linemen to us......that works for me.

We'd need to pick up another couple Day One picks if we start wishing for that.

That is what makes me so depressed about this offseason. So many prospects and so little selections. Makes me sick to think that some of these guys could have been quality young Redskins but are going to be playing for other teams.

I hear ya Tee. With our #1 pick and a 2nd rounder to go with our 3rd, or even better, 2 2nds, we could rebuild our o-line to be one of the best. Unfortunately we spend picks like monopoly money.

There are apparently some concerns about his pass blocking abilities and the feeling that he maybe more suited to be a Guard in the NFL, than a Tackle.
