I don't think we are going to get Cutler anyway because Denver's not going to trade him. I do believe that Campbell will be gone after next season! I like Campbell but he just doesn't fit our system, and if we don't get much better on offense this season than it may happen before the season is over. (Also we did work out Sanchez today, that tells you something)

Pfft, Zorn has his input. They're running the show by committee. That direct quote in my post on the first page pretty much proves it.

and tried to trade him, then was dumb enough to think it wouldn't get back to Cutler. This relationship is too far to change. |

It's said that it wasn't McDaniels that initiated the talks.. he had to have known and preferred it though.. and just him not initiating doesn't mean it wasn't his idea I guess either

Re: Zorn says no on Cutler, talks Haynesworth, Hall and '09 hopes
I don't get what the freaking obsession is with this guy. Yeah, he is all pro and probably one of the best young QB's in the league. We do not have the ability to trade for him, and even if we did, what signal would that send to the rest of the team? After saying JC's job is safe we should just drop it. A team's cohesiveness is vital to a winning season. Trading for Cutler would throw a monkey wrench in the whole system!!

Cutler isn't going anywhere. It's just not going to happen so everyone can drop it already. It's March and his feelings got hurt. In the end he'll get to off season work outs and all this will be done with.

Re: Zorn says no on Cutler, talks Haynesworth, Hall and '09 hopes
I dont think so man, they want a QB in return and no one has a GOOD QB to give them.. We just need to quit wishing for Cutler (I know i want him as our qb).

All it says is the team is doing it's due diligence, they work out a bunch of guys they don't necessarily have intentions of drafting. They also worked out JaMarcus Russell when he came out. |
