The Chiefs haven't been in Washington since 1983 -- that was also the last time we beat them.

1-6 against the Chiefs all time.

We should win at least 10 games this year. I see us upsetting the G Men in the Meadowlands week 1.

Re: Washington Redskins 2009 Schedule

Games 2, 3, and 4 are against new regimes. That is good. Catching them early, before the players have time to "get" the new systems, should make for easier opponents.

Week 8 is a good time for a bye, too.

Interesting point, though we were a 'new regime' last year in terms of head coach, and started out 6-2.

Re: Washington Redskins 2009 Schedule

December is going to test our mettle. I always look for the mileage of the away games, and the two west coast opponents, Oakland and San Diego, happen in December. The San Diego game will test us, traveling 3000 miles across the country two days after New Years. We'll see if the players are on their game that day.

In between those big treks are two tough home games against NYG and Dallas. I'd rather have them at home late in the season as opposed to away games, but still.

Tough December. We're going to need to take advantage early and hold on for dear life. Zorn's got to show he can keep the team healthy and thriving all year.
