Who writes the speeches for the president of the United States?

"Since [Coolidge], every president has had an Office of Speechwriting."

It's totally unrealistic to expect the President to write his own speeches. Different interpretations of words throughout the world could have major impact on our foreign relations. It's for this reason the President's speeches cannot be written by one man alone -- instead, it takes a team of writers and researchers.

Yeah, and his nominees have done a great job getting confirmed, too. I heard the original photographer on the Air Force One photo shoot had to be replaced at the last minute due to past tax issues.
