Mike Holmgren has an opinion unbecoming of a future Redskins consultant.

He isn't your son...no one here is and your dismissive attitude isn't cute or well liked by many. I tend to agree with you about the comments but the way you talk AT people is old.

Yes sir. Understood.

So last year's performance is still relevant.. or should we just wait for the season? You seem to want to ship him out now.

Purely statistically, I am likely older than you, so I could not be your "son."

From the standpoint of logic, ad hominem arguments (where you attack the person, not the argument) are always fallacious. They are always logically bankrupt. Ad hominem arguments also make you look foolish. So please, for the benefit of us both in the future, discuss my views rather than attacking my person.

So, back to the point: How is Zorn's calling the young WR's "sad" in your words "hyping shit?" Or is Zorn more honest than you give him credit for?

This isn't really a surprise. They should be further along.

You should explore reading article linked to in the first post of the thread. Also, I'm entirely convinced you understand what ad hominem argument is.

Re: Zorn: 'We're Further Ahead' This Year

For better or worse, Zorn says whatever he thinks whenever he thinks it. This was written about extensively last year by writers like Peter King and Sally Jenkins. It was a source of friction between the coach and his star running back. It is and has been extremely well publicized.

If anyone doubts that Zorn would say that Cambpell or the WR's or whoever was sucking if they were in fact sucking, well, I would have to refer them to last season.

I read the article (the second link is better) or I could not have asked the question. Here is what Zorn said about the young wide receivers:
"I think that's kind of the negative: we have the 'potential'. We've got some young guys, but they haven't really played yet. And that's what we're hoping, is that the 'potential' becomes a reality to what we think they're gonna be. And I'll tell you this: they have the attitude of want-to, and that's part of the battle, and they're also working hard to get it all down, listening to their coach, Stan Hixon, so that they can be in the right place at the right speed with the right cut and then finish it with the catch, and hopefully we'll get some yards after catch as well. So all those things'll be put together, but right now you're right, man: it's just potential. And that's kinda the sad thing about it."

So please answer my question: how is that "hyping shit"?

What the above paragraph is saying is: We're amazing team and with all our younger guys on the field we would be even more amazing.

Anywho, both articles support the case for "hyping shit up" and all you could muster is this little paragraph and on top of that you don't seem to be able to read between the lines. He psychologically stuck you dude.

Looks to me like Zorn was just telling it like it is with no BS attached.

Reading between the lines often leads to interpreting the given facts the way you want to see them. Zorn is, by all accounts, pretty straight laced and not given to hyping it up. I doubt JZ is implying anything of the sort that you just said.

No, that paragraph does not say that. I'm sure that Thomas and Kelly did not take those words as "hyping" them. But since the word "sad" means to you "hyping," from now on I will call you "Sad," and you will know that I am just "hyping" you.

You still have not learned that Zorn is very honest. Unlike other members of the FO, Zorn has a hard time "hyping" anything.

Before you pass out more unintelligent advice, you might want to learn to spell, Mr. Mexcio.

Re: Zorn: 'We're Further Ahead' This Year

Whatever people, it's the same shit year in year out and I still don't see a SB or competitive team on the field when it matters. We're an awesome team with everything is clicking, everything never clicks and so we're not an awesome team. I'm not mis-interpreting anything this team gases it's fans year you year out.

I like Zorn and I have faith in him but I'm not buying oxygen from him.
