Rodents!

Stairs with no handrails! I never use handrails because of all the germs but it's nice to know they are there if needed.

Having blood drawn freaks me out. If I see it I'll instantly get dizzy and nauseas. Not a big fan of bugs either. Big bugs. And bees of any kind, I'll run like a girl when a bee buzzes around me.

Sunken ships. Being near them or even watching them on TV really weirds me out for some reason. I don't think I could ever throw on some SCUBA equipment and go exploring one of them. I don't know what it is but they just are too creepy to me.

Re: What's Your Phobia?

I'm not a big fan of ladders or being in high places without some sort of railing/security. When I was 7 or 8, frisbee got stuck on the roof of a garage at the beach. 8 foot garage, told my Dad I'd go get it. As soon as I got on that roof, I froze. Dad had to come up and help me down the ladder.

Also not a big fan of fire, although I'm slowly conquering that one. In 7th grade science class, a buddy of mine was playing with a striker near the gas supply where you hook a hose up to connect to a bunsen burner. Needless to say, the gas wasn't completely turned off, and he hit the striker near the supply and a fireball flew in my direction. I lifted my binder in front of me to block it. Scorched the back of my binder pretty good. So ever since then, matches, lighters and I aren't very close buddies.

And while I'm ok with my own blood, if I see enough of someone else's blood, I get hellaqueasy. And while I'm getting blood drawn, I completely look in the other direction. Learned I can't watch my blood being drawn the hard way...almost passed out on a 5 foot 100lb phlebotomist...

Being handcuffed by a chick during foreplay and then being robbed her.

I have an unnatural fear of the ocean. I love lakes, rivers, and anything freshwater, but honestly I've had recurring dreams of me dying in the ocean. There's nothing that has caused that, but it does.

Re: What's Your Phobia?

I have a fear of dying. I know it's dumb since everyone's time will come and there's nothing you can do about it. It just bugs me out sometimes to think one day I will be gone. I guess what my fear really comes down to is facing death. I honestly could not imagine a doctor telling me I have months or weeks to live and having to wrap my mind around that. It just freaks me out. When I go I hope it's quick. I couldn't handle lying in a hospital bed juiced up on pain killers just waiting to die. I also fear losing my family. When the day comes that I lose one of my parents I'm going to be a mess.

100% agree. I didn't put fear of dying in my original post, because I didn't want this turn into another "why should you fear death" discussion like in the Life After People thread.

I totally agree. I am not so much afraid of my death as I am of my love ones. I have never lived in a world without both my parents, that is going to be a sad and scary world when the day comes.

My dad keeps trying to go over his will with me but I keep dodging just becasue I don't even want to think of it. not that he is on his death bed it is just precaution.

Its a good thing your dad has taken the time to have a will and its because he loves his family that he has done this. You should take the time to discuse this with him because then you will understand his wishes when that day comes. Its not a fun subject but most people never take the time to prepare for death and that can make things a real mess.

You are right, my wife and I have one as well and we are in our thrites. Once you have kids and property you need to make sure all is in line.

Good point, none of seem to be ready it just kinda creeps up. Granted I am much younger, but I do think about these things.

I guess since you all are older it has been on your mind for a while, but it's funny how these thoughts never really concern us in our early teens.
