I like the Vernon Davis call, and I'm gonna go w/another 49er since I think they will be a tough team: Josh Morgan, WR.
Not a pro bowl type year, but becomes a starter & makes plays for a winning team.

I would also consider Shaun Hill or Alex Smith, whoever is gonna start for them. I think that team is headed in the right direction w/Singletary.

I feel the same about Felix Jones. I TRULY think the Cowboys passing game will take a huge step back this year and teams will be stacking the box against the run.
They're both talented speed guys. Jones will have a big year if he's healthy, that guy is gonna give us fits catching the ball out of the backfield. I'm not sure austin will have a big year, but he'll make a lot of plays.

Okoye in Houston. They are in a similar type of season as us, another 8-8 season won't do. Their defense has the potential to be excellent and they had a top 10 offense last year. They need Okoye to step up and make big plays this year next to Mario Williams.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

I'm not sure if Okoye will break out or not, but I definitely agree with your sentiments about Houston as a team. They could very well be this year's Arizona Cardinals.

Damn, I thought I was going to be the only one that said the Texans, as a team, will have a break out year.

I have two:
  • Leon Washington, Jets RB - will get 200 touches on offense this season
  • Darren McFadden, Raiders RB - Recovered from turf toe that plagued his rookie season

Now that Favre has confirmed he won't play this year....I'm going to say Tarvaris Jackson. I think he beats out Sage in training camp and puts together a strong season

Cottam is a good call (even if you got his name wrong). Great call, actually.

Kevin Smith and Burleson as well.

I agree with Rivers... I think he makes the Pro-Bowl this season.

that's bold. I always liked him, but it might just be because he seems dangerous any time he tucks the ball in & goes. He's kind of a poor man's vick but he seems a lot smarter & willing to work on the details.

I could see this being a big year for him, just like many of us feel it will be for JC. Both have something to prove. Similar situations.

I like Donnie Avery, just to throw out another name.

In fact, here's a list:

Amobi Okoye, DT, Houston
Leon Hall, CB, Cincinnati
Sedrick Ellis, DT, New Orleans
Dustin Keller, TE, NY Jets
Domata Peko, DT, Cincinnati
Paul Pozluzny, Buffalo
Derrick Harvey, DE, Jacksonville
Brandon Carr, CB, Kansas City
Brent Celek, TE, Philadelphia
Tyrell Johnson, S, Minnesota
Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay
Aqib Talib, CB, Tampa Bay (didn't like him out of Kansas, but he did good things last year)

I also agree with the Chris Long and Gaines Adams picks, although we might be a year too soon on Long.
Love these picks.

He sprained his MCL today. Doesn't look too serious but if it is...hello Hattiesburg
