Re: Collins locks up the #2 job, Colt and Chase fighting for the #3
Baby Brees is probably a pretty good comparison.
If Daniel was 6-3 would he have gone undrafted? Probably not. By the way, anyone know his real first name? Chase is actually his middle name. |

He won't even tell us! I do understand though, I have always gone by my middle name, by no choice of my own. Quote:

Re: Collins locks up the #2 job, Colt and Chase fighting for the #3
First of all, I have to admit I'm biased about Chase Daniels. I'm a Mizzou fan and watched him his whole career at Mizzou. The only knock on Chase Daniels is his height. He has tremendous football instincts. He reads defenses well, knows when to take off running and when to dump the ball off. He is accurate and his touch is as good as anyone's. His arm strength is average. He has a body build more like a running back, very strong lower body. It's questionable if he can be a NFL quarterback, but the same was said of Drew Brees or Jeff Garcia. So far, he is looking like the best long term prospect for the Skins. I think another team will pick him up if he is placed on waivers. Colt needs to pick up his play in my opinion.

Man I see a ton of excusses for the performance of certain QB's on this team and right now both look like crap.

chase will win the 3rd spot IF he plays as good against the pats, like he did the steelers..

I think pre-season is a built in excuse. Let's see what happens once the real games begin. 18 days!

Id like to think CB would get a shot with the 2's vs their 2's. He has been in cleanup action in both games thusfar and the protection was terrible vs the Ravens which i believe was the reason Chase didnt play in that one. Zorn admitted that the protection faild CB in the first game.
