I don't think it should come as any surprise that Moss is a bit of a jerk. That's all I'm taking away from this.

First off, I'm not suprised that Randy Moss is an asshole. I dont think anyone should be shocked by that.

I've been on the receving end of some of these types of things from athletes as well when I covered sports for a radio station, and I specifically remember one (current not at the time) New York Yankees pitcher absolutley flipping a shit on me for trying to get an interview and being to close to his locker. Its a big reason why I got out of that business, because I like sports too much to have crap like that take the love of it away from me. (I will say this though, any Redskin I've ever come in contact with for the most part has been awesome). Moss should have just said he didnt do interviews or something, theres no need to be a dick about it.....

At the same time though, I dont think Cooleys blog should be a place to call out other NFL players. I dont care if its coming from Cooley or not, just let it go. When he wants to have fun with Romo and Witten becuase they're friends or whatever, thats fine with me and I think its halarious. However, questioning someones character, even if it is true, I dont really think I like. He called out Ben Watson too, who basically just declined the interview from the sounds of it.

Now, about the post. It was never my intentions to make another player look bad or raise any negative thoughts about the Patriot players. I was going into the locker room, which was open to all media, to interview Tom Brady. His availability was canceled after the injury. So, being that I was already in there, I decided to try and talk to other players. Randy Moss, after catching 2 td's and having a great game, immediately came to mind.

When he saw me he could have very easily said "sorry man, I'm not doing press right now." But instead, he rudely asked what I wanted then told me it didn't mean shit to him. That was the reason for my post. As I said in my post, I was a ZILCH in their locker room, but there was no need for him to act like that. I don't feel like he owed me an interview or that he should even give me the time of day. But I have seen professional locker rooms. They are generally filled with members of the media. He knows the difference between being an ass and brushing someone off.

In the future, for all you that call me out about not working and riding coat tails, I read it all. I am a college graduate and I work very hard at what I do. In less than a year I will be in medical school and you haters can celebrate when I'm gone from the site. Until then, if you don't like what we write, you don't have to bitch about it here. Tanner you could be wrong, what if the Pats have a no interview rule, which the coach informs strictly. I am sure members of the Pats made the mistake and they got a handful from the coaching staff.

How can you judge someone by one encounter? And forget about game, what if Moss was just having a bad game? There was a long time from his TDs and your "interview". Also Moss definitely "above" you, no one cares you are Cooley's brother. Great for you, but that doesn't mean you are entitled to have people only interact nicely with you. We all deal with people who are upset at times, but I never rush to judge someone.

Furthermore this is a forum and we are free to talk about whatever we want to, so we don't to "bitch" to your email. Are you scared your site will receive bad pub? Finally, you are riding your brother's jock. Once you get to med school then I will change my opinion, but working on your brother's blog is riding his coattails. Look, you're obviously a smart guy in your own right and you don't need your brother and his success to create your own success in life. But the reason you were present in that locker room on Friday is ultimately because of Chris. And that's totally fine. There's nothing wrong with that. 1 - The Patriots are a pretty closed team, I wasn't there but if they cancelled a interview session with Brady, they also may tell the other players not to talk. Moss still may have been classless in his response, but that they didn't talk may have been basic Patriot policy.

The coat tails thing is a bit overblown guys. At least give the dude credit for handling a very entertaining website. I think we can all agree that the Cooley Zone is pretty sweet, and funny. It's really helped Chris' popularity.

That said, Tanner I think if you look around this site, you'll find that 99% of the time the members here love the Cooley Zone, and have nothing but good things to say about it and your brother. I understand you may feel personally slighted by a few of the comments you've read today, but try to have thicker skin. Sometimes you're gonna get criticized. Especially if you throw stones in a glass house.

Totally agree. I love The Cooley Zone. Hell I even have the cc47 app on my iPhone. This was the first thing I've ever read on there that I didn't really like.

Who was the one on the 1st page who said welcome to Redskin Football....I thought THAT was the biggest joke of all. Making a statement like that about Tom Brady is nothing short of ridiculous. I hope it turns out to be true, that we are able to say that about this front four, but not yet.
