I'm actually happy for the haters, now they don't have to make up stuff to hate on Campbell.

The first half of this game can now be the new "proof" that Campbell sucks, kinda like that Solomon Wilcots video that Nflnick used to preach with.

Man, I am just happy the D looked good today. Really good job up front and the secondary was solid. Tryon stepped in, glad to see Smoot on the bench. Reed and Horton sharing PT worked well. Big Po getting a sack. It took several games, but this effort was something to build off of.

My thoughts exactly. He just had one o those days where everything went tits up on him. He still plugged away and made big plays to win the game though. I am more encouraged by what he did in the 3rd quarter, because of his first half struggles, than ever before.

If he is the QB the haters paint him to be, he should have completely folded and lose that game. Going into the half I thought he was going to fold and that Zorn was going to bench him. Glad he proved me wrong.

I'm going with the D.

I know it was the Bucs but if our D can play like they did today for most of the season AND Portis can play like today we might actually salvage something from this season.

Yeah no kidding. Hall's interception today is the the reason we signed him. Yes he's not as steady as Rogers on a regular basis. But he'll make plays and get turnovers. Rogers...not as much

It's perfectly ok to say Hall had a huge interception today and leave out the qualifiers

It is not, just like it is not ok to say that Campbell bounced back and threw two TDs in the second half to win the game. LOL.

Ok, now I'm just being annoying.

Then NFL Schedule makers...for giving us the easiest schedule at a time when our team is not paying well. Any one who thinks this was a great victory is missing the bigger picture.

I don't think anyone is calling this a great victory...this was a just a win. There are tons of concerns still unresolved, but we live to fight another day.

Really. I don't get fans upset about 'how' we won today. Jesus, we won! Let it rest for 24 hours guys, enjoy the victory.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Hell Yeah! We were down 7-0 47 seconds into the game, overcame adversity and came out with a win. After last week...I'LL TAKE IT!!! People can say what they want about JC...he didn't give up. That says a lot in my book.

I voted for Capt. Caveman. Although, I think the above is the bigger picture for us. JC had a bad game, but managed through it. Since he's been really careful not turning the ball over I hope he doesn't regress after all those INTs.

Overall, the game ball goes to the team. As I've said in another thread, we don't have to be pretty, as long as we win.

Re: Redskins game balls

JC gets the game ball despite all the boooooing and finger pointing he sucked it up and won the game. Jarmon played very well would have been my second choice.

Re: Redskins game balls

I went w/ CP. He played hurt and ran hard almost every touch. But there we're a lot of nice plays today...Hall earned a paycheck and all the sudden Tryon looks like a football player.

Also how bout some props to Reed Doughty. Not a PB safety I know but man it just seems like when he's in the game there are far fewer missed tackles and busted plays.

Re: Redskins game balls

I give it to Campbell. I was at the game and he looked like a UFA rookie in the first half. Not sure what was going on in his head. I told my friend that I wouldn't be surprised to see Collins come out early and start warming up. Campbell played a good second half and did a great job leading those two TD drives.

A little disappointed to hear the "boos" so early in the game.
