Mike Williams Starting vs Carolina?

This could be fun to watch, maybe the ground pounding up the gut running we need, MW may be able to push people back instead of watching our line sit in JC lap. GO SKINS!!!

Talk about a head scratcher!!! I'd like to hear the insiders around here weigh in on this one. I mean Rinehart was doing very well against the run. Obviously he would struggle in pass-pro for a while but that's expected.

...the funny thing is a started wondering about Mike Williams this week! We heard so much progress in pre-season and then nothing once the line-up was set. I really, really hope he is a great big awesome surprise today!!!

Rinehart has an injured shoulder and didn't practice much this week. Big Mike took his practice reps and, apparently, they liked what they saw enough to let Rhino sit this week to heal.

Why are we just now hearing about the shoulder?...Did it take place within the last day or two?

I'm going to guess during the TB game since Williams has taken the practice reps all week.

Just like everyone else, I'm surprised.. And I'm hoping the shoulder injury is the fact why Rhino isn't playing.. If it is not the case, then Rhino probably would be like us - not knowing why he's not starting anymore..

It seems like to this days, the coaches are not communicating with players

Thanks. Good to know there is a legitimate reason for this. I thought Rhino played pretty well last week.

You mean CR SGG? He was playing well and it's discouraging to have someone come in and play out of position who hasn't played in years.

just another reason to draft a guard next year and I thought all along that we should put mike williams at guard since he isn't that athletic at Tackle.
