Keep in mind I hate Dallas and was happy to see them loose, but I never really understood the hate geared towards Tony Romo, especially when other guys like DeMarcus Ware are given a fair amount of respect around here.
A good honest post. I tend to think Romo is a quality person.

...I still hate a cowpokes and think football justice was done tonight. Vikes-Saints are exactly what I've thought about since like week 5!

I have a giant freaking smile on my face knowing that eaglets, cowgirls and that other team will not be in the superbowl this year either. The smashing, bashing, crushing, and stomping defeat that the cowboys were handed today was a joy to watch.

next year we make the playoffs this i guarantee!!! If we don't i will put up 100 dollars to help support this forum.

looking forward to draft my friends,,,,,can't freaking wait.

P.s. Vikes were practicing their two minute offense at the end, to damn funny.
lmao!

Re: Vikings Run Up The Score: Brooking vs. Pat Williams

I don't see anything wrong with the Vikings getting that final TD. If Dallas' defense would have done their job, the TD would have never happened. Dallas had plenty of other opportunities to score and keep it a game. I think its funny how some people say its classless. I don't think there is such a thing as running the score up on a NFL team. Keep them out of the endzone if you don't want them to score.
Just like when the Skins got blown out by the Patriots the other year, I was pissed that the Skins got their asses handed to them, not at the Pats for running up the score.

If this wasnt against the Cowboys id care..lol
Minn was trying to impress the Saints. I doubt they have a repeat next week.

Re: Vikings Run Up The Score: Brooking vs. Pat Williams

I'd like to add that there's a big difference between this situation and the Pats/Skins game that some people have been referring.

Belichick's game was early in the regular season and he was purposefully running up the score on teams. Later in that season, he kept his starters in while being up by multiple touchdown during meaningless games when they had clinched everything they could have clinched.

In this situation, it is the playoffs, and the Vikes were playing against a high powered offense. Furthermore, the Cowboys were also talking crap all week, so was the media (since the Cowboys are media darling). Once again, different situations.

Screw Dallas. The Vikes were tired of hearing the hype all week and whipped their ass. Obviously Dallas wasn't good enough to do anything about it.

Is that a Saints win prediction?

I'm not sure Williams can put together a genius gameplan two consecutive weeks...but I will say if Williams plans for Minn the way he planned for AZ the Saints are SB bound.

How many of you were crying when the Patriots destroyed us a while ago, just curious. I don't believe there is such a thing as running up the score. Just don't want to see double standards.

I don't think the Dallas D was the problem. I didn't see the whole game but I heard the second half on the radio farting around on Broad St. It sounds like the old ass O-line couldn't protect Romo and the defense got worn down. Does that sound familiar? I came home and saw the Cowboys D on television and they looked spent. I do think they stuck it in and broke it off though. Oh well! I could see why Brooking was pissed. Act like you've been there before jerks. I'm rooting for Naw-Lins. eff Favre's prima donna ass.

Funny, I was going to bring this up. I took a lot of flack before that game was even played because I said the score was going to be ridiculous.

Hey ish happens. Brooking should have been in Jason Garrett and the o-line face because the defense kept the team in the game as long as they could.

Yes, but none of our players made a stink about it like Brookings, and our game was during the regular season. And as I said, Belichick did the same thing to several teams during meaningless games.

I'm willing to bet your $100.00 will be more than welcome even if we don't make the playoffs. See donate (above)
