Sorry for your loss.
Thank you for posting, I'm embarrassed to say I need a real world reminder from time to time to make me appreciate my dad more. Great guy and awesome father but he drives me nuts some times! |
Sorry for your loss.
Thank you for posting, I'm embarrassed to say I need a real world reminder from time to time to make me appreciate my dad more. Great guy and awesome father but he drives me nuts some times!
I know EXACTLY how you feel jamf. I guess a lot of us need to be reminded not to take our parents for granted sometimes. My mother has Alzheimers and I miss her so much. Those who have someone close to them who have been stricken with it will know what I mean. It makes me a little more patient and forgiving towards my dad who I haven't always had the best relationship with. Love them and show them how much while they're alive to enjoy it. They'll feel better and you will too. It sounds like you had a great relationship with your Dad LBrown43. I think that's awesome.

Re: The Redskins have lost its greatest fan.
I knew posting my dads death would bring a few condolences but the outpouring of kindness has been dumbfounding.
He never was a computer guy (old school at 80 years old ya know) but I told him about the Warpath and he would have loved the passion you all display. He was a great man who did things under the radar. He was passionate about 3 things: his family, his Knights of Colombus and his Washington Redskins. I will look to see if I can find any pics of Wayne's Wigwam and do my best to post it. Again, all of your kind words have helped me tremendously. Sundays will be different but will also have new meaning due to what each of you have posted. Thanks again to you all!!!! |
