I would mainly want him as a LT backup possibly RT Starter.

Agree, once he hears DM is here, he will be begging to come back & play RT & be a backup.

What are you trying to do, turn him into Andre Smith? Terrance Cody? You should say welcome to DC Russell, hire Shannon Sharpes personal chef and prepare to dominate the NFC East.

Agreed. Kinda makes the whole "WIN NOW" philosophy/notion kinda difficult if we gotta teach more than they can step in and stabilize a position. I dont think Washington is the place ANY pick should want to come to and take time to grow. Not that they can't, but I think, evaluating the FO's moves thus far, we are looking and leaning towards more immediate impact types. Not that we can't breed some young talent as well tho..........

That is why Okung and Berry are a perfect fit here.

The Okung visit was really low-key...I almost missed the news report that he was here.

If it's a win now situation then I see Flozell Adams in our future as painful as it is to say. The one player I would love to get is Berry, the other is Golden Tate.

If my life depended on the Redskins signing Flozell Adams I wouldn't feel good about my chances. Chad Clifton, Tony Pashos, and a couple others have gone through town without a contract.

They were FA's looking for a pay day, Adams as much as we hate his ass and dirty as he is, was cut and would be cheaper.

Re: Russell Okung visits the Redskins

I think this guy should fall in the Skins lap and it looks more and more like the obvious choice. Now that the RB situation looks to be taken care of for now as well as the QB position, this has to be the biggest need on the team

You know what that means don't you? We are going to draft him #4. Shanny plays the shadow games playing up the guys he's not going to draft... a la Tebow... to put off people to who he really wants. The only other situation I see happening other than Okung is trading down for more picks and another lineman. Mark my words.
