WERE A BAD TEAM???? We have the best defense in the league, arguably the best running back in the league. We are ONE player away from being a domanite team, and we are 3 BS calls away from being 5-3. Dont even try to say this is a bad team. The only thing that I'm reluctant to be optomistic on is our schedule, we have to put together three really good games against Philly(2) and Pittsburgh. Other than that I think we are a good team, with a poor qb. |

I had to watch the Steelers game last night (UK TV). Anyone else catch it?
Basically, the Steelers ran all over the Eagles and Roth did enough to ensure they were out of it by half time. Bettis and Staley (assuming he's fit) will be tough to defend, and they have a passing game (this kid looks the real deal!). They stuffed the Eagles run and put almost constant pressure on McNabb. Looks like they have good balance overall and their ST ain't too shabby either. They showed everyone how to beat the Eagles, but you definitely need a passing game to do it. |

based on the fact that it seems every yr the skins are "on the verge" of the playoffs, im gonna have to take the pessimistic route this yr. come the end of the season we'll be on the outside looking more than likely. teams are just too tough. we'll hit 7-9 with a good 2nd half. 8-8 or 9-7 is def. a stretch but i guess like you guys are saying, what with poor NFC play, we may slink in there... just doubtful.
for future seasons though maybe instead of paying washed-up !@#holes, we can somehow pay the owner of the lions to play them 10 or so times, that'll get us to at least 10-6... point being that we've beaten absolute trash this season, and not really in convincing fashion so i think now that we'll be playing big boys we might have to again look toward and offseason to reap our success. |
