Re: MAD about Mad Men
Hmmm...maybe the same people who produce Entertainment Tonight, also do the previews for Mad Men.
Ever watch ET? They preview everything and make it sound like a big deal and then by the time it comes up in the show it is like a ten second clip. ANNOYING!

Re: MAD about Mad Men
I really liked this last episode, but it sure seems like they're focusing a whole lot on Peggy this year (Don is expected). I miss the ensemble aspect of the show
I do plan to start using "You should be thanking me, and Jesus, every day for giving you a chance!" in staff meetings

Or you could start using Don's secretary's metaphor about watching a fight, I mean if you want to get fired.

That episode (two weeks ago) was on par with Breaking Bad's "Fly" ep, with just two characters. Don and Peggy have a very dynamic relationship- Don sees himself in her and she looks to him as where she wants to be. |

I like your thinking and I think you are right. I loved the Peggy scene in the elevator Joan was so right.

Re: MAD about Mad Men
Yup... the writing was definitely on point with that scene. While viewers applaud Peggy for what she did, Joan hits them with the sad truth of the matter later on.

Re: MAD about Mad Men
What an episode...very women centered. Girl Power! Seriously that weasel at the office deserved what he got.

I also like the subtlety in his ressurection... he's not quitting cold turkey- but he's now only drinking after someone puts it in his hand (or a glass of wine with his date). |

Re: MAD about Mad Men
So ... how long do we give Henry? Think he makes it to the halfway mark?
Loved the whole "Grass is greener" monologue by Draper while Henry is out mowing the greener grass. It's your lawn now buddy - have fun. Nice.
