Tough game but deffinitely win able, need a good/great team effort. GB are not playing up to their preseason rankings time for us to get them before they figure everything out.

Re: It's F-ing Packers Week

We need to get Fred Davis more involved. Packers are hurting in the secondary, particularly safety. Think they're down to their 3rd stringer at FS (or maybe strong safety)

S Michael Lewis just became available, 49ers cut him today.

Still wouldn't be enough time to catch him up on the teams defense. Anyway their secondary doesn't matter. We're going to pound the rock, especially with two starters coming back into the fold.

I thought they had a good transition to the 3-4.

Whoops, they did lose Johnny Jolly.

Re: It's F-ing Packers Week

I may start an "it's Almost F-ing Colts Week" thread to discuss the fact that they may not have Sanders and Bullitt

Wonder what we're going to talk about during the "It's the F-ing Bye Week" thread.

Re: It's F-ing Packers Week

Since I'm going to the Vikings game in November, I'll start the It's Not Quite F'ing Vikings Week tomorrow...

Green Bay has plenty of weapons on both sides of the ball. This is a team that is a mistake or so away from being 4-0. They are giving up almost 120 yards/game on the ground, so if Torain and Portis/Simpson/Williams/FA/etc. can move the ball and keep Rodgers off the field, the Skins have a chance. Rogers and Hall held their own last week against Jackson, Avant and Maclin. They'll have to do the same against Jennings, Driver and Jones. It'll be interesting to see how the LBs are able to cover Finley, since he's quickly becomes Rodgers go-to guy.

Re: It's F-ing Packers Week

I was so sure we'd lose to Philly in Philly with Vick. I'm equally positive we'll lose to the Packers in DC with Rogers. It's a wonderful feeling to be wrong.

Re: It's F-ing Packers Week

Let's see...

a) we won't have our best pass blocking back to slow down Clay Matthews and Cullen Jenkins
b) Green Bay safeties are struggling

QED
c) I predict that we throw a lot of quick passes to Cooley and Davis

The Pack almost lost last week because they turned the ball over all day. Carlos Rogers!!! Learn how to catch!!! You will have chances.
