re: Skins work out JaMarcus Russell (and a bunch of other free agents)
its not surprising he is working out for teams given the courts decided not to indict him. Its just annoying that we were the first. It's just a terrible decision given whats been going on with McNabb.

I hope 19 of them are offensive lineman, and at least 5 are centers.

re: Skins work out JaMarcus Russell (and a bunch of other free agents)
Not sure what there is to be embarrassed about really. Guys get 2nd chances all the time in this league, just look at Mike Williams in Seattle and how that's working out.
Besides, it's just a workout. |

re: Skins work out JaMarcus Russell (and a bunch of other free agents)
it doesnt hurt imo.
just cant see the skins dropping anyone from their roster to make room for him this season. maybe we are just bringing him in to get a close up look and scouting report on him for future consideration to invite him to camp this offseason for workouts. i dont see us signing him right now, i dont think there is room on the roster for a developmental long term project qb. besides, doesnt he have a bring it from the hip just awful throwing motion?

What a shot across the bow for McNabb.

Jake Grove is out there, he was a pro-bowler at one time.

re: Skins work out JaMarcus Russell (and a bunch of other free agents)
Open mind here. I can't help but wonder though is he the only "big name" FA we are working out or just the most controversial. I am very interested in knowing who the other 19 FA's are. Don't forget we had Brian Westbrook, Fast Willie, and Larry Johnson working out while Ryan Torain slipped through and turned out pretty good. Maybe if enough people are like WTF they won't notice Shanny signing a potential stud. Not only does it create a diversion, it puts pressure on McNabb.

re: Skins work out JaMarcus Russell (and a bunch of other free agents)
Come on now, Russell is a project and no threat to any starting QB in this league. Kyle S. said they are working out a few other QBs too. Regardless of what happened Sunday, I think we would still be working guys out. This is a common thing coaches do during a bye. It's more of a scouting and info gathering process for the future.

re: Skins work out JaMarcus Russell (and a bunch of other free agents)
He played at a high level in college...work him out. If he can be trained sign him...I mean he can't be worse than having Rex as our #2 and if Young can get it together maybe he can too.
