Re: Tony Romo

Guys, Is there any truth in Alex Smith’s agent is talking to Snyder?

I heard it from my source at ESPN

I like Alex Smith, he could be an interesting pick up. Maybe the Shanahan's can get the best out of him.

He's had the same situation as Campbell. Like 5 different OC with the 49ers. I seriously think that the Shanahan's could resurrect his career. Call him the next Jake Plummer, maybe better.

Re: Tony Romo

^ I hope your right SF if we even sign him... But arent you tired of getting washed up QBs?? It's time for us to draft our own guy of the future. Keep Rex bring in a rookie and go from there IMO.

Re: Tony Romo

NO THANK YOU.

Why do we need to keep raiding the NFCE for QB's? the first one didn't work out.... or so people are saying.

Lets trade off our tradable players for more picks whatever they maybe.
Trade out of the #10 spot for more picks.
Pick up OL in the first round.
Pick up a NT with the second round.
Pick up QB Andy Dalton in the second round from our trading out of the #10 spot.
Pick up:
LB
WR
FS

and hope we can pick up another top notch WR and CB in FA.

Trust me we bring in Romo and it's SSDD. Old QB trying to learn a new system in a short amount of time and a learning curve cause he doesn't have it all down his first year. I'd rather keep Grossman for next year who already knows the system and play calls inside and out while he helps coach up Andy Dalton and Beck.

I like how this thread wasn't even a serious discussion and you just busted in here like oh shit! this idea needs to be squashed now before it becomes something bigger!

BTW guys word I'm hearing on the street is that we might be interested in a different quarterback this offseason. My sources at TheWarpath.net indicate that's the case.

Re: Tony Romo

I'm not suggesting anything here just curious. What was Brady snorting from the Gator Ade cup before the start of the game?

I saw that and my first thought was smelling salts. They're still popular in NFL locker rooms and players still use them pregame to "wake them up" so to speak.
