^ Wow...that's bad. Hightower and Helu should both top 80 yards. No excuses.

Redskins 2-1 -0 2 13/25 This defense flies around the field and plays inspired football, and the return of DB LaRon Landry only makes them better. On offense, they move the ball down the field with ease, but need to convert in the red zone. from fox sports Power Rankings

He was solid in the first 2 weeks. We need him to be consistent. In the Dallas game, old Rex came back in moments, that INT throw to Lee and the fumble at the end. Those kind of mistakes cost games and are why teams were scared to even contact him when he was available. If he cam stay comfortable in the system and play mainly error-free (he's guaranteed for ONE turnover every game, so we need to accept that), then he can keep the job. When he starts reverting to his Jekyll-and-Hyde ways, it's time to see what Beck can do, even if we are winning despite of him like the Bears did. If he's playing smart ball and not making those stupid blunders, keep him in definitely. If he starts to become inconsistent, we need to see if Beck can stabilize the QB position. Keeping Rex in might hold back the team's potential success if he's not exceeding our expectations and his reputation.

Re: Skins v Rams pregame
If Rex has a couple of bad games in a row, then I suppose we'll see Beck. Rex won the competition with Beck to start the season but my perception is that he didn't win it by a wide margin, so why not give Beck a chance if Rex falters?
Nevertheless, I don't think that Rex played badly against Dallas. I thought the Dallas defense played well. The Redskins had little success running the ball, their receivers were not getting separation, and Rex faced a lot of pressure from the rush. If Rex has a bad game against the Rams, then I would count that as one bad game by Rex for the season. |

Re: Skins v Rams pregame
Bradford acted pretty flaky when he got a lot of pressure from the Ravens DL.
I think Rak and Kerrigan will mess him up a bit and force a couple of turn overs.

Re: Skins v Rams pregame
Yeah, I wouldn't put all of the Dallas game on Rex. The pick he threw was horrible but there were some ify calls by Kyle IMO. I think overall, it falls on the offense as a group.

Personally I dont want to see the change only because Rex is the QB he should see it thru and I'm really sick and tired of the QB issue. But realistically there was a close battle for the QB position and the QB issue still persists if Rex does not perform well Sunday. |

Re: Skins v Rams pregame
As far as the Game. I think we will either blow them out or we will lose. Its all riding on Rex and his ability to convert in the RZ
