They're ratcheting that up this yea it seems. Strong rumor is that the one and only Madonna will be trying to avoid the wardrobe malfunction this year. Isn't that dandy? Nothing says football like "Madonna"...or not.

I don't think he was comparing Obama to Hitler. I think his analogy was supposed to represent that they should be mortal enemies (much like Israeli leader/Hitler). That said, why was this the reason why his song was pulled? Many of Williams songs talk about getting wasted, having sex with women, and getting stoned and THIS is what got the song pulled?...lol

With the energy Jaws and Chucky would bring on a breakdown of each team....I'd go back to that classic intro in a heartbeat.

I wonder if anyone from ESPN lurks around here and can get that handled

Which one of his songs talks about getting stoned? Drunk yes, but I don't remember any of his songs about getting stoned.

"Feeling Better"

Quote:
Moved on down to sweet home Alabama in 1974
Had to get out of Music City and I had to get off the road
Woman, she left and the people wouldn't let me sing nothin' but them old
sad songs
Had to get high so I wouldn't cry, you know they hit pretty close to
home

Hey, the name of this song is called STONED AT THE JUKEBOX.

Just a couple, but many more.

Apparently you aren't very familiar with Hank Williams, Jr....lol

Know a guy who has a contract to clean a local venue after shows, do security etc. Hes always back stage hanging, gives me free beer tickets when i see him, cool guy. He said Charlie Daniels and his band played and damn if charlie daniels and his entire crew were smoking so much weed, that he had to tell the manager to tone it down because local police there were getting pissed. He said Charlie Daniels sitting back their in his traveling Lazy Boy chair hitting the blunt. WTF...

You dug deep to find those because most of his music is about drinking. I would also think that Stoned AT The Jukebox would be a Jukebox in a bar and stoned would be from drinking. I really don't care if he smokes weed or not its just that you never hear that about him nor do I recall him ever talking about smoking pot.

BTY: I played in a country band from 1983 until mid 90's in bars from Va through NC. and we played a bunch of Hank Jr's music because that's when he was at the top of country music.
