Wow, here I was thinking to myself a human being would see the abuse, put a stop to it immediately and call the police right away. Who the fck reports it to their boss? The POS person who saw it should be the first person to be put down for this heinous crimes.

Still does. Gerry. His dad Alex was a guard with the Colts.

This Sandusky has a nice who is basically the Morocco Brown of the Cleveland Browns. As expected, he's taken a leave of absence.

And Nemo, I understand your allegiance to Penn State but this is bigger than any school allegiance in my opinion. I doubt you'd be whistling a simmer tune if the coach in question was Bob Stoops, and not Joe Pa.

I mean, even these guys know what to do:

Police arrest man for child pornography after tipoff from burglars - CNN.com

Seriously bad sh** should happen to anyone who had knowledge and passed it off.

I don't know what a simmer tune is. I don't know what I'd say if the coach in question was Bob Stoops. I don't think Bob Stoops has five decades of integrity to fall back on. We don't have enough information but I think his career entitles Paterno to some benefit of doubt. And I can assure you this has little to do with "allegiance." I've been the most open Paterno detractor in the world for 10 plus years. I think his exit would be the best thing that could happen for the program. I just think calling him a ****er and wishing that his old ass burns in hell is a little premature.

Whoops...similar.

All fair points. I think Paterno should step down immediately. That's just one man's opinion

Well looks like consensus is forming pretty quickly and it agrees with you. At the least Paterno does immediately owe us more than we were all fooled.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State

I think the bottomline is Joe Pa was clearly aware a possible henious crime was committed by an eyewittness, the question is why didnt he call the authorities or ensure a call was made to authorities?

I dont think Joe Pa lives by the street code of "stop snitching"

No doubt. Graduate assistant who's now a WR coach? Wouldn't surprise me if he was told not to go to the police and in return he got a bit of a promotion. Not saying that's what happened, but it wouldn't surprise me

F-ing predator, and those that covered for him, should not see the light of day except through bars ever again.

Joe Pa you failed miserably, acknowledge your failure, express remorse and step down immediately.

All of the things Joe Pa has done means absolutely nothing now. He had a chance to do what's right and chose to look the other way. I don't normally wish bad things on people, but I hope every single one of these guys die a horrible death. Here's to hoping they get hit by buses while crossing the street.

Makes you wonder if the Board of Trustees knew. No doubt the President, university attorney (if he was remotely aware), and Joe Pa should be out the door. I mean, none of this "resign" crap, I mean a foot up the ass as in FIRED. How can anybody in the top administration keep their jobs after this? Hell, even that WR coach (the GA that saw it) should lose his job as well.
