YEah, but every time he does he ends up looking like a fool. He needs to just keep quiet and let his play do the talking.

I don't have a problem with what Hall said. It is right on the money, but still; anytime a Skins player got cocky and called out an opposing player, he got burned. How many times have we called out Romo and the Boys only to lose, when we should have won, etc. We made Romo look like a hero when he played with a broken rib and punctured lung, after someone called him out beforehand. Everytime folks want to stick a fork into Sanchez, he comes up with a nice game. I guess it was Hall's turn to egg him on. I hope Hall gets a pick six or two, but historically speaking, we end up laying a dud after calling a specific player out.

Well in the time that we've been friends, I don't have anything to brag about either. Whenever I bring up past Super Bowls, I get the "keep living in the past" response. And that's valid, but what I say to that is, at least I have a past to live in.

Sounded like Hall was talking about Grossman. Generously, that is.

Hall didn't say anything that wasn't easy for him to see when looking at Mark Sanchez on tape, and I don't think he was even particularly blunt about it. I just thought it would be exciting if someone put a microphone in Sanchez' face and asked him to talk about playing against DeAngelo Hall. This could be a weekly thing. It'd be great!

Re: Redskins Vs Jets Pregame Thread

Anybody want to guess the team with the longest winless drought (in terms of time) against the Redskins?

Re: Redskins Vs Jets Pregame Thread

This game will be a big test for the Redskins offense. The Jets have 2 good cover corners and play the run tough so the offense has to run the ball well. We need a big game from Fred Davis because our WR will be MIA with Revis out there. Our defense must stop the run and pressure Sanchez and force him into bad throws. LB's have to cover the Jets TE which will be a tough task for us.

I feel like we keep the game close but we come up short because the Jets need this win more than we do to keep pace with the Patriots. This game comes down to a FG and we know that Gano has struggled this year.

Well, the Jets and Redskins have only played 9 times ever. If I'm not mistaken the last time they beat us was a 3-0 shootout in 1993 on a Saturday, nationally televised game. We really showcased our stuff that day.

I was a freshman in high school.

I was looking on a jets forum and it's awesome to see they're worried about our pass rush. It's been a long time since we could say other teams feared it.

I didn't notice this, but very quietly Stephen Bowen has 4.5 sacks on the season and Carriker has 5. That's great production from two 3-4 defensive ends. I can only imagine what it will be like with Jarvis Jenkins in the lineup next season, but it's definitely safe to say at this point our trade with STL for Carriker has been a win for us.

Re: Redskins Vs Jets Pregame Thread

Thank god Sanchez is not a ****ing rookie. Maybe he'll pull a "Kolb" and fail to beat us despite us giving always "fresh" QBs the red carpet treatment.

Sanchez is basically Grossman with superior physical tools(mobility, accuracy, arm strength).
