Re: Optimism!
I was the one who said that we've played the super bowl champ for the past 6 years now, dating back to the colts super bowl championship.

Re: Optimism!
Actually, wasn't it the Patriots' second Super Bowl run that started out with the Redskins beating them early in the season? After that, they won the rest of their games and went on to beat the Panthers (I think it was) in the Super Bowl.

Re: Optimism!
just saw this on Steinberg's blog:
Brian Mitchell on the Redskins and ‘loser talk’ - DC Sports Bog - The Washington Post we've won more against super bowl champs of the past 12 years than anyone else. When you combine that w/the fact that we've lost the last 8 straight to starting rookie qb's, it really makes the 'curse' talk seem for real! |

Re: Optimism!
That has always been the redskins problem over the years, play up or down to their opponents.

Re: Optimism!
2003-4 season, Champ Bailey (remember him?!) forced a fumble late in the game that sealed it as I recall. We were 3-1 after that & the Ole Ball Coach had us believin.

Re: Optimism!
But Rex said we were 'a damn good 5-11', does that make it better.

Re: Optimism!
I like eggs prepared in pretty much any manner. I've yet to find a preparation that I did not enjoy... unless you count those black duck eggs you can get at Asian grocers, those were unpleasant... I'm not sure what was up with that.. when I get a chance to try them again I will update you all.

Maybe the Skins just need to learn when to out game plan their opponent compared to when to just out play their opponent like when you pplay rookie QBs. |
