Maybe but sometimes they show it. It is weird.

I know the rules in the past were that a home game in the home market is the only game on in that time slot. In the case of the Ravens this week, they are on the road, so sometimes if the home market team is on the road there is another game on at the same time on the other network. Some of it has to do with double header rules, so I can't say that with certainty. I live in Tennessee Titans country, so I have Sunday ticket to combat my Skins being on at the same time as the Titans. This week in my case the Redskins play early and the Titans play late, and away, so there will be many options for the regular network viewers this weekend in my area. |

Re: 2012 NFL TV Distribution Maps
According to Comcast's on-screen menu, Baltimore is choosing to show Pittsburg v. Philadelphia.

I have FIOS and it shows CHI/JAX. If you live outside of B-more county and have Comcast you can watch DC Fox. I had it for many years but got FIOS this year and they don't care DC Fox.

Re: 2012 NFL TV Distribution Maps
FFFFFFFF...got the Eagles and Falcons this week instead of Pittsburgh and the Skins.
They should have planned it out better so PA residents can see both PA teams. Then, I could watch the Skins. I'll stream on my flatscreen TV but now I can't DVR it.

Re: 2012 NFL TV Distribution Maps
So anyone know if the Skins will air in Baltimore Sunday? The Ravens play at home, at 4:30 on Fox (v. Giants). Comcast has Fox with a 1:00 game. The arcane rules governing who can televise what, when seem to allow it (e.g., the Skins would not be broadcast at 4:00 even if their game would have been broadcast on CBS).
The question is (1) Am I reading the rules correctly in that Fox may broadcast both an early and late game Sunday and (2) If they can do so will they broadcast the Skins? Trying to figure out if I need to get someone to watch the kids while wife an I go to a bar to watch the game. [EDIT: It is a designated Fox Double Header Sunday so I am pretty sure No. 1 is yes].

Re: 2012 NFL TV Distribution Maps
I am in Baltimore City. No Washington station options for me.

Re: 2012 NFL TV Distribution Maps
if you unplug your cable, and just use an antenna, you should get dc fox.

I have done that in the past. It's a bear to get a decent signal. At one point, I thought of installing an antennea for just that purpose.
