Re: NFL mad at Skins
My dad told me a story where his buddy a running back got crushed in high school football and walk to the sideline and fell over. The dude looked up and was asking for ice cream

Re: NFL mad at Skins
No worries. Both were bizarre accidents. The last one probably made me more sensitive to the players situation than most. It's scary how loopy or "dumb" you become with a concussion. After the last one I sat down to kill a sudoku puzzle, which would normally take 15 or 20 minutes, and after an hour of stairing at the page still mostly blank I knew concussions are serious.

A few years ago I'd have worried that team docs would push a player, but given the NFL's current situation with player health RG3 should be protected. ...and no, my opinion is he shouldn't play this week. If you don't like it please add me to your ignore list. In fact, please do so regardless. Thanks.

RG3 never lost conciousness = lower severity. Romo went to sleep against Tampa and came back in the game. Our FO is doing good by RG3. He learned a lesson and got off lucky on that hit. |

And by the way, your opinion on whether he should play is completely useless and pointless. What exactly do you know to think anyone here on anywhere would care about such an opinion? |

Re: NFL mad at Skins
The Patriots haven't given an accurate injury report this century. This is much ado about nothing.

Regardless, your certainty that money, fame and glory somehow makes a risk/reward ratio different shows extreme immaturity at least, and just plain shallowness and lack of character at worst. But you're young and values do change, just as we've observed countless retired players come out and say the damage to their body and brain wasn't worth the career.
