Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
Spoilers ahead!
As soon as I thought the show had lost some of it's violent appeal, it looks like Bloody face is gonna torture poor Lana, both physically and psychologically. I hope she gets out of that though, because I really enjoyed her character. And what's up with the Anne Frank lobotomy? They never work like that. They usually leave the victim like a vegetable. Was she just dreaming that or what?

Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
Season 1 is up on Netflix now.
I just started watching it yesterday, I was kinda meh on the first 2 episodes, but after 4 episodes now I'm digging it. |

Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
I disagree. Absolutely loving Asylum- it's more insane than the first season.

Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
I'm actually a week behind, which is why I haven't commented. I'm DVRing tonight's episode and last week's episode, since FX plays the damn show 4 times in a row.
I should have some input later on in the week.

Asylum deserves Emmys for editing and cinematography. The finest I've seen on television in a long time.

Three scenes/shots really stood out to me: the scene in Thredson's apartment where they kept jumping back and fourth in time; the shoot of Lana walking out of the mausoleum; and the scene in Father Howard's office with Kit that was dominated by giant shadows. All three were amazing!

Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
however the last 2 episodes have been pretty boring. I'm not so hot on the whole alien storyline... i think it really takes away from where they were going with this.
