Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions

I'm not making anymore predictions on the Skins until they win again. After losing 3 straight, what makes any of you think we can win this game when the 1-6 Panthers beat them at home!? The glass is half-empty in my world with this team and I am tired of watching them loose games. Can they win one going away, where it doesn't come down to the last play of the game? I guess we will see Sunday.

We are the more talented team, and should win if prepared and well-coached.

Thats been our problem every game. Its just some games RG3 has enough awesomeness to overcome this glaring deficiency. I'm so close to hoping we lose out, just so Griff can really bloom under a new head coach, one who hasn't changed his offensive coordinators diapers or gave him "the talk".

I guess that's a setup for your next Shanahan bash... Yeah, we know your act and it wore thin a long time ago...

And seriously, we have more talent than the Eagles (except RGIII)?

Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions

The past two weeks I've picked the Skins to win and they've played horrible. I'll reverse that trend this week. Eagles in another blowout win after a bye week.

Eagles - 34

Redskins -14

If anyone on here really thinks their picks affect the game then I despair.

They have no left or right tackle. No center. If Kerrigan can't get pressure on their ROOKIE QB, he may as well be added to the list of replaceable guys. Same for JJ Bowen and cofield. Expect a lot of quick passes. Tackling is going to be key on those quick desean Maclin avant slants. The eagles have good pass rushers so expect a lot of Alfred Morris up the middle. It's still going to be close since there isn't much film of foles. So he'll make some plays early on and eagles are going to be fighting since there's pressure on them and Andy.

In doing so, we will simultaneously prop up current Eagles regime, once again make a rookie look like a future HOF'er and subject ourselves to a full week of rants and, in the case of Goat & crew, a blistering round of "I told you so" gloating.Philly 24

Skins 29 (3 TDs, 2 FGs, and a safety -- Kerrigan gets to Foles)
Eagles 26 (2 TDs, 4 FGs, and a blocked FG at the end of regulation causes fans to wet themselves with glee).

Hell, I still want freaking payback for the body bag game in the fall of 1990. Still livid about that. Let's knock out Foles and see who their third string is. And let's get to that guy, so that they have to have a RB throwing passes.

I wonder if Andy Reid would be fired if they lost to us?

But we did get payback for that one
