That's hardly a good team......
A short way of saying how good they really were is:

We beat them twice. Without a quarterback. End of story.

I won't go into details here, because there is plenty that has already been written about it. Let's just say it was a BS investigation with a BS outcome. The only reason it wasn't challenged in court is because it would have cost a lot more people a lot more money in the long run. It cost the redskins the most money but the Giants owner wasn't satisfied, he wanted "draft picks". After we drafted RG3 he wanted the draft picks stripped from us, making our trade with St Louis void, and making it impossible for us to keep Black Jesus on our team.

John Mara (Giants Owner) is such a scumbag, that even Daniel Snyder was caught on tape earlier this season saying "I hate that motherf***ker".

Now isn't it fitting, that after it was all said and done. The two teams he tried to screw over, are playing for the NFC East title next weekend, while the NY Giants are playing on a hope and a prayer/nothing but a paycheck. Mara, You REAP what you SOW you silly bitch... Merry Christmas. HTTR.
As much as I like your "F-U Mara", RG3 is not "Black Jesus", Obama holds that title.

Right, doesn't anyone remember the Giants tripping and falling onto the Lombardi Trophy? That's the way I remember it too.

No, I didn't. Not in the least. Their path to the Super Bowl trophy was paved with luck, 15-1 teams not showing up to play, and a poor defense not being good enough to defend in a game when it counted the most. This team was nothing at all like the 1986 Giants who ran over every opponent to get to the SB. The 2011 NYG were more like 1979 LA Rams.

I wouldn't mind some of that Giants luck for our playoff run.

And didn't we just have a little taste with Foles missing that wide open TD near the end of last week's game??

Luck alone doesn't win you a Super Bowl.

Perhaps Foles missed that throw due to his broken hand. Luck is part of the game too. If Welker catches that throw from Brady with 4 minutes left in the Super Bowl, NE probably grinds out the clock and wins the game. Most champions have some measure of luck along the way.

Re: Mara Karma

True enough. At the same time, champions have teams and players that make the most the lucky breaks they get.

Luck undeniably plays a part - its an odd shaped ball and it bounces in funny ways. With that said, I would rather have Ed Reed trying to catch the bouncing ball then, say, DeJon Gomes.

Fred Davis baptized RGIII with that name. I call him the Messiah.

If anyone one has ever checked ,I have never said one word about not being lucky.I ask members of this board would you rather be good#1 D ,#1 O and get knocked out after 1 and done or get a little lucky and win 4 or 5 in a row and win the super bowl???

Don't you just love a good blanket statement with absolutely no underlying knowledge? I mean, obviously I dislike our rivals, being a Skins fan and all, but I feel sometimes it's necessary to differentiate the team and the player. There are a lot of players from our rivals that I respect not only for what they do on the field, but off of it. Victor Cruz is one of them, for what he did for Jack Pinto's family (and for also trying to avoid the media attention it brought). DeMarcus Ware is another one of them, for the troubles he's had trying to raise a family. All you do when you talk like that is embarrass yourself.
